I watched and almost started a thread about it.

Kevin was perfect.

Everyone was very funny, except: Randy Moss, Bill Belichick and half of Ben Affleck's set. I skipped most of their set after about 3 or 4 minutes.

The Ron Burgundy bit fell flat for me.

Nikki Glazer did better than she'd ever done before.

Tom Segura and Bret K. were super funny.

Tony Hinchcliffe was excellent. His best joke was about Sam Jay. "She's a Black lesbian, which means she doesn't eat pussy. She Oh Hell Gnaaaaaawwws on it."

I don't know who Sam Jay is, but she was funny.

Andrew Schulz was 9/10.

Gronk was decent. But he thinks he's funnier than he is, at least scripted.

Peyton was gracious and funny.

And of course someone's going to take a typical vagina pot shot at Kim K., but the best joke was, "Kim Kardashian was really nervous to be here tonight. Not because of everyone's comments. But because she had to leave her kids with her ex-husband."

Anytime Kanye gets read for filth, I'm here for it.

Overall, it was definitely one of the better roasts. The jokes seemed to be up a few levels. Not everything was a whore or slut joke, which is just so old. Some of the divorce jokes were harsh, but it's a roast.

On a sophisticated level you're right. On a basic level some of it was. Nikki Glaser, Tony Hinchcliffe and Andrew Schulz were great. You have to know going into it this was going to be crass and they were going to take cheap shots and pick all of the low-hanging fruit.

It had a few moments but watching athletes read jokes made me fast forward to the comedians.

Kevin did a great job making the production feel like less of a production.

Bill Burr said that despite being a Bostonian, he didn't wanna do it. He felt it was cheap and low for a bunch of guys to sit around and make fun of a man going thru a divorce and handling custody of children. I respect that.

Tom also regrets doing it to some degree because it's affected his children. I don't know how they ended up seeing it, but conversations have been had because of it.
