Why do cops do this?

Have you ever been on the freeway when a cop starts flashing his lights and starts zig-zagging across the freeway for about a half a mile and then just stops? What the hell are they doing when they do that? Anybody in law enforcement able to answer why? It's kind of irks me. Does it irk anybody else?

I work w/ cops, but have never seen them do that, so I can't answer your question.

But what I can share is that once I drove a new marked car that was getting the rest of its equipment installed. I'm not a sworn officer and the car was not in service, hell I wasn't even in my town's jurisdiction, but I'd look behind me while driving and it seemed like every car on the road was trying not to pass me. It was really funny at first. Then, it got really annoying.

Thats just what happens when the female officer is given a turn 2 drive.

She panicks and fucks all over the road.

My brother-in-law is a cop... I can answer this for you.

If a traffic accident occurs or there is something large in the road, then they are notified of the location of this situation.

If it is a 2 or more lane freeway or highway, they turn on their lights, and begin to zig-zag across all the lanes on the freeway to slow all traffic down... sometimes bringing the freeway to a complete stop (depending on the situation) until said situation is cleared up.

Hope that helps. cop

I only work for the beast for a couple more weeks. It wasn't other cops staying behind me though...it was other drivers.
