As a non-American, the actual football was of very little interest to me. But I just checked out the Usher half time show when I woke up this morning and I'm hugely disappointed. I only recognised like 2 songs. And his voice sounded off. I get that it's not easy to dance and sing at the same time but he sounded out of breath from the very beginning.
Edited to add that Usher is only 3 years younger than Prince was when Prince performed at the Super Bowl. Why is it that Prince felt like a big legend to me at the time but I still think of Usher as just another modern pop star? [Edited 2/12/24 6:13am] |

What was supposed to be a celebration Parade today, turned into tragedy. So far 22 shot, 11 children are at the children's hospital 9 out of the 11 have gunshot wounds. I am heartsick to say the least. My immediate family are safe, other family members were there and I'm hoping they are safe.
