Do your children?

I have just been watching a programme where this woman is convinced she sees fairies, she is an artist and paints fairies and waits for these fairies to come to life, and she claims she sees them..

Ok, I will tell a couple of stories from my childhood...

I did believe in the Tooth Fairy when I was younger..


Once when I was 6 or 7 I really believed I saw a fairy fly past the electric light in my classroom, but I was very spiritual at that time, so whatever it was, I wanted to believe it was a fairy/an angel/or my guardian angel...the moment was most strange..

Also every Sunday me and my family used to go to my Grandparents for tea...after tea they used to ask if I wanted to see the Little House and the Fairy, I said yes! So I used to run to the bottom of their garden where my Grandad had built a beautiful rockery in a shrine with flowers and a tiny wooden red doll-like house, and I used to crouch down and wait and wait and wait for the fairy to appear...she never did... I was there till dark, every Sunday evening and when my Mum called me inside she asked where I had been and she told me I had missed Little House and the Fairy...I couldnt understand cos I was there watching and waiting, for ages...

Of course it was TeaTime television, if you hadn't worked it out already, she meant Little House on The Prairie.. I never found that out for ages and ages...


Oh the wasted hours! Fairies are little shits! Bastards even, and how come I only got 10 pence for a tooth when my best friend got 50 pence?


So nope, I do not believe in them anymore...

She is seeing fairies? I'm speechless! Where does she see them? Don't tell me!!? at the bottom of her garden perched on a daffodil or something!
