Does anyone remember that person that used to post on here really articulately about Princes music

There was a person on here and ive forgotten their username so maybe they still post but there was one person who was really articulate about they way they posted about Prince's music they'd know exact dates and go into details about his unreleased music. They weren't an insider but they just had a lot of knowledge about all available public details. It was like a part of a Duane Tudahl book each time they posted.

This post by strongxoman1 yesterday is similar to how they would write having knowledge of instruments princes used and the year of production etc. (But this of course wasnt their username)

"That site isn't the end-all be-all, either; for example, Brenda Bennet has stated quite clearly in interviews that Manic Monday was originally recorded by Vanity for the second V6 album, but that site lists its first recording being in 1984. It also makes sense that Manic Monday was recorded earlier, as its melody is quite similar to that of the verses of 1999, and Princevault notes in its Trivia section that Prince's original organ arrangement uses the Oberheim OB-X and that this is unusual because by 1984 Prince rarely used the OB-X and had moved-on to using the newer OB-8. The OB-X was what he used to record 1999 and Vanity 6.

Now perhaps 1984 was the first documented recording of Manic Monday, as we all know Prince recorded a lot on the road and in his home studios, but documentation of all that won't ever be as complete as studio recording session records."

I remember their posts from around 2016ish just prior to Princes passing. Does anyone remember who it is exactly im thinking of?

I think Neversin gave us some great insights.

Neversin certainly has given great insights, but that's not his writing style. He's syntax is less formal and his tone is more curt.

Madhouseman maybe (who is Duane Tudahl)? Or Boris Fishpaw? There sure are other contributors who’d fit

Well, it was shared and it's great, if the Gold and Come albums are your thing.

Re Boris? Look around you, it's not difficult to work out why there was a mass exodus from this site a long time ago.

I remember a great chat with Michael Bland on the former 'Housequake' website.

This has nothing to do with that, but he honestly answered any question we had for about a running week! That was a gem of a freebie!!! lol
