I'm a Phoenix Suns fan. Most of my fandom is predicated on their radio play-by-play announcer for 51 seasons, The Voice of the Suns Al McCoy.

Dude is almost 90 and is still peak broadcasting level. An old school throwback almost 1930s badass baritone fast-paced delivery with fun catchphrases for the whole family. He turns every single play into War of the Worlds. He is the last of an era, they don't make 'em like this anymore, and never will again.

The Suns honored him last night, but they moved his courtside seat of 50 seasons high up in their own arena this year, something he always said would make him retire, and already made him previously retire from road games, so, he did just retire recently, scheduled for after playoffs.

Clippers got a solid radio guy, too. Noah Eagle, son of Nets/TNT TV guy Ian Eagle. Seems like it'd be unabashed nepotism but the kid's better than his dad.
