I've played it - it's made by the same company that created the Tekken series. I call it "Tekken with Swords". In fact, Tekken's Yoshimitsu is in Soul Calibur 2.

I just seen the teaser trailer. It looks great for a vr game 😶 I will take my place, In the great below

All this talk about classic games had really whetted my appetite so on my way home from work this evening I stopped off in a shop called CEX here in Dublin and bought myself a GameCube and a bunch of classic games. They didn't have Soul Calibur 2 though but the guy offered to take my number and call me if they get it in stock. Sounded dodgy to me so I passed on that. But anyway, now my son can see the games I grew up with. [Edited 12/14/22 12:17pm]

The graphics may be outdated, but the gameplay is what makes a classic. That's I'm still playing all the PS2 GTAs(especially San Andreas) as much as I did when they first came out in the early 2000s. Same with the old MKs, Tekkens, Madden & NBA 2Ks.
As for PC gaming, nothing tops Unreal Tournament, which came out in 1999.

As for PC gaming, nothing tops Unreal Tournament, which came out in 1999. One of the controllers I bought yesterday doesn't work . So I'll have to get another one but I was playing a bit of Mario Sunshine by myself last night after my son went to bed and I swear, the graphics don't look half bad. In fact, I'd say they've aged really well. 007 Everything Or Nothing was another game I picked up yesterday. That hasn't aged so well but it's great fun. Funnily enough, I've never seen a James Bond movie but I have fond memories of playing Goldeneye with my dad. I was hoping Everything Or Nothing would be a similar type of game but it seems a lot more... cinematic? Still great fun though. I was up til half 2 this morning playing it

@ classic games I'm not sure if any of you are aware (I'm sure some of you are) There are emulators for the pc, possibly other devices, If you dont know what they are, They let you play old games. You can literally download old arcade games, sega; genesis, Nes. Super nintendo, n64, gameboy, GB advance, etc. Alot of the games run perfect. I use to have a bunch of programs, games, roms saved on a dvd as back up. I found them really enjoyable to play. I bought a $20 controller for the pc and played away. They now sell devices online (amazon) you plug into your tv (hdmi) and they come preloaded with thousands of games. They are fairly cheap. I even thought about buying one. You can look on yourube for reviews I'm not recommending this product, it came up upon search https://www.amazon.com/gp...p13NParams But it says its preloaded with 117,000+ Games They also sale hand held devices that do the same thing I will take my place, In the great below

I heard that emulation is very easy on it and ideal for beginners. I've already been looking at a few guides on YouTube and it does seem really straightforward. Anything pre-PS3 era seems to run perfectly with no issues at all. And because a Steam Deck is essentially just a handheld PC, it has all the same functions that any regular PC would have so I'd be killing two birds with one stone. They're about €600 though so it may have to wait until I save up a bit first.
