FragileUndertow said: I watched "Morbius" the other day. No spoilers It was ok, but not good. Didnt like the paint cgi effect when he flew around. It was predictable Villan and story wise. There are 2 post credit scenes. Maybe you all heard, but it kind of didnt make sence. I guess they will explain later. Joejoe said : i think it is fair to spoil this movie anything ive heard of it has been in ridicule so i think if anyone watches it now after all its reviews should not mind it being spoiled. Not much to spoil. It's an origin story. As I said its predictable. It's not as bad of a movie as they make it out to be, but it's ok at best I will take my place, In the great below

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Just as I expected, Disney has 'Disneyfied" the MCU like they did Star Wars. So far, Phase 4 has been underwhelming, and that's being kind. I don't understand the obsession with taking classic characters and turning them goofballs/comic relief (Hulk, Thor, Dr. Strange).
Namor's one of my favorite Marvel super-heroes, but I'm sure Disney will find a way to screw him up too.

I've given up on the DC and Marvel movies already

Only one I care about is Fantastic Four - also news on 'Man of Steel 2' (my favorite Superman film). Black Adam has been mentioned, but I'd rather see Brainiac or Mongol.
Here's The Full MCU Phase...hedule ...Man Of Steel 2 Is Actuall...cement ...

The controversy is that it says it's "Forever" when in fact the movie is only a couple of hours long.

What controversy? Whether they are or aren't replacing T'Challa. I'm just uncomfortable that it has to be a thing. I just wanna enjoy the movie as entertainment. Time keeps on slipping into the future...

Before they even stared filming, Kevin Feige said they're not going to replace Chadwick or CGI him into the movie. I don't think those "recast T'Challa" folks are anywhere near like the "Snyder Cut" people who were renting billboards & blimps and trolling anything related to Warner Brothers, even if it had nothing to do with DC Comic movies. I don't think Wakanda Forever is going to have any big problems. Maybe DC/Warners will with their upcoming Aquaman 2 & Flash movies because of the bad press Ezra Miller & Amber Heard have been getting over the last year or so. WB & HBO have also recently been bought out by the Discovery channel You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. Actually, I've heard from a good source that they are....not happy with T'Challa's successor, and that's all I'm going to say.
Another MCU Phase 4 flick I'll ignore.

It just put a blemish on an otherwise pretty picture. Time keeps on slipping into the future...

They don't make much money though. The movies that usually make a lot of money at the box office today are superhero, certain family animation movies, horror, sequels/reboots, Godzilla, Fast & Furious, Disney live action remakes, Madea, & movies with Kevin Hart and/or The Rock. The new Top Gun sequel made over a billion worldwide. Most everything else the general audience streams it, pirate it, or rent it from Redbox. Besides, what else is Marvel Studios going to make? DC movies are made by Warner Brothers and WB doesn't exclusively make superhero movies like Marvel. Like Lucasfilms only makes Star Wars. Without the movies that are popular now, movie theaters might wind up like Blockbuster Video. The studios are only giving people what they want to see just like the mainstream music audience is into Cardi B, BTS, Lizzo, & Taylor Swift. Why do you think Tom Cruise has mostly been doing Mission Impossible movies over the last 20 years and not much else? Even Denzel Washington made the first sequel of his career with The Equilizer and I heard he's making a 3rd one. If Aladdin with Will Smith & The Lion King remake both made over a billion, well they're going to make more of that. Disney is currently making Little Mermaid & Snow White. Video games are popular now, so the movie studios make Sonic, Mortal Kombat, Tomb Raider, and they're supposed to be making a Pac Man movie. Currently China isn't releasing as many American movies in their movie theaters now and that is the 2nd biggest movie market in the world. Also the popular mainstream movies help finance the movies that don't make money like so-called "art films". Superhero movies don't just make money from the films themselves, but with merchandising like T-shirts, action figures, Lego sets, Funko Pops, video game versions, etc. But actual comic books aren't as popular anymore as they were decades ago. There is nowhere near the amount of superhero movies/TV today than there was of westerns from the 1920s to when they started to lose mainstream popularity in the 1970s. Probably most of John Wayne's movies were westerns and he was popular for decades. Clint Eastwood became popular because of the western. I doubt it, the new Thor made over 700 million at the moment, but Thor & Ant-Man have never made as much as Marvel's other movies, that's about average for them. I think their highest grossing solo movie is Black Panther. I know it is in the USA, it even made more than Infinty War in the US. A lot of people who don't normally watch superhero movies at all went to see Panther, even members of Black churches went as groups. WB considers the theatrical Justice League canon, not the Snyder Cut, and it was not in theaters, only on HBO Max. HBO Max is not as popular as Netflix & Disney+ or even the regular HBO cable channel. WB was trying to get subscribers to HBO Max by releasing all of their 2021 movies on it at the same time as released to theaters, which hurt the box office even more than covid was already doing. A lot of theaters and permantly closed down because of covid. If this new guy Zaslav was in charge, I doubt that the Synder version would have been approved to spend more money on it to finish it, since he is said to be cheap. That 2nd Suicide Squad movie probably wouldn't have been made either. Anyway, Zaslav is behind shows like Honey Boo Boo getting made. Reality shows are all over TV today because they are cheaper to make than scripted shows.
