RIP Fred Ward

The actor Fred Ward passed away yesterday at 79 years old.No cause of a death has been reported yet

He made a lot of movies.I remember him mostly for his roles in these films

Tremors
Joe Dirt

I only really know him from Naked Gun 33 1/3. I don't think I remember seeing him in anything else.

Check out Remo Williams, great film. Ward was great in Nude Gun.

I remember Remo Williams, I think. God, it's been decades since I've seen it. (I hate that I'm old enough to actually use the word "decades" in that way now.)

Fred Ward was one of those actors who was in so much, but he never quite got the name recognition like he should've. He's "that guy in that movie..."

'Tremors' might just be a nod the the old B Movies, it's super shlocky fun too. I could put it on anytime and it would raise a massive grin. That's in no small part due to Fred. A classic monster movie. Tense, exciting and funny. What's not to love?Indeed, RIP.
