YESSSS! And it looks so good! I'm wrapping up Moon Knight tonight, then the finale of Picard tomorrow. Also tomorrow, the debut of Strange New Worlds. A few weeks of that, then Obi Wan Kenobi. The Orville starts at the first of June I believe. So, lots to enjoy in the very near future.

Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

I didnt realize that was you in the pictures lol
I finished Moon Night last night as well.
Going to Dr Strange tonight. The Avatar 2 trailer debuts with the movie. I'm excited for that.

Im also excited for Obi Wan. I wonder what character cameos we might see. I did spot who looks like "4-Lom" in the trailer. One of the bounty hunters we see lined up in Empire Srikes Back. I remember the name because I had the action figures as a kid.

HHAHA Yeah, I made them a few years ago just for shits and giggles. I have one for Revenge of the Fifth and Revenge of the Sixth.

I'm not overly thrilled about the Avatar stuff, but of course I'm fully onboard with Dr. Strange. (I'm still salivating over Shang-Chi's hot ass and awesome movie.)

Obi Wan and Strange New Worlds (debuts tonight) are high on my list.

I also just read that Picard season 3 was filmed back to back with season 2, but is entirely different. It is "less intimate," and pulls in The Original Series (TV & Film) elements to tie it all together. The TNG crew will be back for season 3 as well. Frakes directs some episodes, too. Wesley will not be back.

I never got into DS9 or Voyager, but was a fan of TNG. I hated TOS. Dad watched it all the time and it was just corny to me, as a kid.

In 2010, I watched all of Enterprise. Directv was airing it on their Audience 101 channel, three a day without commercials. So I just plowed through it. It was a slow start, but a fun watch.

It spawned me, a year later, to finally circle back and watch DS9 and Voyager. But then I had an idea. I knew the Cardassian stuff was partly crossover between TNG and DS9. So I found a site that had every Star Trek thing ever, in chronological order. (I skipped TNG movies in the list, since I'd already seen them.)

I started with season 6 of TNG, and started watching. Then I watched DS9 as the list called for it. I just kept on with Voyager once TNG ran out. The storylines with TNG and DS9 made much more sense overall. It was also a great way to get both series under my belt, finally.

I still don't care much for TOS, but TNG and DS9 are high up there for me. The list could change at any point, but for now, for me:

The Next Generation

Discovery

Deep Space Nine

Voyager

Picard

Enterprise

(lots of space here, then...)

TOS

Truth is, I've enjoyed all the ST series thus far, sans TOS.

Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

I think that DS9 really became a soap opera in space. Non-sequitur episodes became less common, particularly when emerged the theme where the Ferengi guy constantly got on the nerves of Funny Face guy, ya know the one with the face turned inside out. Then Woke Black dude, who was like the head commander guy, thought it his duty to persistently berate everyone on the spacestation. Sometimes for something as trivial as bringing a full cup of coffee to a meeting. Should have become a meme really, and would have been but for the fact the internet wasn't a thing back then, least not as far as social media. Ah, happier times. More simple times. Taking drugs while tripping out to another cool and far out, holodeck TNG episode. But not necessarily so, not if you were a young celebrity type yet to avail yourself of the evils of hollywood, thanks to mom's caring hand. Aww.

DS9 was the schlitz. It dealt with spirituality in depth which was different in the Trek verse. It dealt with some heavy themes and opened up the dark side of the federation. Got a bit of history before the Enterprise series.

It sure does wink. And to a very special person who shares her name with a season in the year.

That was an interesting addition to the cast. Worf gets around, too. I think he's possibly had more lovers than Riker or Picard.

I believe the addition of Worf was something familiar and comfortable, that kept the show going a bit. It certainly made it even more interesting.

Worf was a bit of a player for someone who hated being 'dishonored'. And it made a nonsense of all those official ceremonies and initiations he was into, which he never stopped wanging on about.

Tha Patrick Steward originally didn't want to revisit TNG crew. I'm aware of that. But the fans have changed his mind.
The third and final season of the American television series Star Trek: Picard features the character Jean-Luc Picard as he is reunited with the former crew of the USS Enterprise. The season is produced by CBS Studios in association with Secret Hideout, Weed Road Pictures, and Roddenberry Entertainment, with Terry Matalas serving as showrunner.
The return of other Next Generation cast members was confirmed in April 2022: LeVar Burton, Michael Dorn, Jonathan Frakes, Gates McFadden, Marina Sirtis, and Brent Spiner.
