I'm on a Nicholas Cage movie binge

Yep. Went to see "The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent" loved it for what it was, definitely not an Oscar contender but it was fun in its nutty bromance way.
I also say "Pig" which should have been an Oscar contender if it already wasn't. I recently watched "Willy's Wonderland" which had me rolling, one of those it's so bad its good type of movies. I have to admit I have loved most of his movies. Im going back and revisiting a few.

Do you have any favorite?

Con Air is my favourite Nic Cage movie and it's not even close. Extremely silly but it knows what it is and plays up to it.

Love Conair. I haven't seen Vampire's Kiss in ages. I gotta look that up. He has so many. Face Off was mine.

Willy was good but he didn't say a word in it, need to see PIG.

I like the new movies where he's letting his crazy show. With that said, this movie is like a drug-induced-fever-dream with intense visuals and Mr Cage brings his A game.

Mandy (2018)

The quiet life of devoted couple Red (Nicolas Cage) and Mandy (Andrea Riseborough) takes a dark and bizarre turn when a nightmarish cult and their maniacal leader (Linus Roache) seek to possess Mandy's body and soul. A shocking assault on the innocent pair leads to a spiraling, surreal, bloody rampage of all out, mind-altering vengeance.

Raising Arizona, Wild at Heart, Lord of War, Bad Lieutenant, Joe, Mandy and Pig are by far my favorites.
The rest I didn't really like. Havent seen The unbareble weight of massive talent yet, looks like more goofbal Cage nonsense.

I started Mandy a couple of weeks ago. But it was late and I was tired so...well...I'll catch it again probably this weekend.

I used to like watching his hands. He doesn't use them like he used to, not that it impacts his ability.

Anyway his newest movie is really a tribute to some of his most memorable roles, I forgot about Guarding Tess, I adored that movie, definitely will be revisited.
I think I've pretty much seen everything he's done.

Time To Kill is an unusual Italian film Cage does a great acting job in.

Josh Olson's Movies We Love podcast interviewed the doc film maker. Olson is a huge Cage fan as am I.

Wild At Heart my jam. Like one of those weird Prince songs.

Oddly haven't seen Pig.

Face/Off lots of fun.

Con-Air the shit.

Leaving Las Vegas, devestating.

Mandy, wow.

Check out 8mm. Tough subject but good performance also by Joker actor.

Last year, I had a Bruce Willis B-Movie marathon. I had them on in the background while I worked, but I didn't miss anything.

With Bruce Willis, it's well known that he just shows up on-screen for about 20 minutes in exchange for a hefty payday and they get to use his image on the marketing materials. Just a few of those movies are any good, and if they are it's in spite of Bruce's involvement, not because it it.

NOW -- with Nicolas Cage, he has even more B-movies in his discography, but he is actually IN them and does whole performances. I actually respect him for that. I don't think he "phones in" performances like Bruce Willis was doing.

I might follow your lead and do a Nic Cage marathon, but I might focus on some of the direct-to-video stuff. I've seen the bigger movies already.

I'm old so for me, Nic Cage is a legend. From "It Could Happen To You" to "The Rock," Cage has made some great films. Most of his newer stuff I won't watch, mainly because there are two many choices. However, "Color Out Of Space" and "Mandy" were both really really good and fairly recent(like a couple of years).

Which part is the lie? Because it's well known that Cage is a huge Prince fan. And if you've ever seen the credits at the end of a film, I don't see how it's incredulous that this person has worked with Nic Cage, in whatever capacity.

KCool/ChocolateBox has been called out enough times for her lies about working in "The Industry" or the people she claims to have worked with.
