WHO'S A BETTER DRIVER

Why do they always say that men are better drivers then women? let me ask you this, who gets more tickets MEN, who are involved in more accidents, MEN. I rest my case, everyone feel free to add your opinion. wink

Women are far worse drivers... men drive faster and they do a better job of it too.

What makes them far worse drivers? I myself have never had an accident or a ticket.

Ive gotten 2 parking tickets, for being there longer than I shudda. And Ive hit a park bench (lol) and a wall (lol) both while reversing.

In my defence Im still quite a new driver and aslong as I check how long Im allowed 4 a parking space and am not driving backwards Im pretty good.

But in all the near-misses and mistakes Ive seen, most of them have been committed by women.
shrug Sorry.

But I guess its true about men crashing more, men (young men) are far more stupider as drivers as they let their ego's take over and speed way 2 much. I 'spose when they put themselves or sum1 else in hospital they'll learn then.

Generally speaking,

men are usually better in terms of "driving technique" (e.g., parallel parking)

while women are typically SMARTER drivers in terms of the overall process(es) of driving*; most women don't hesitate to ask for directions, if they need them.

* excluding those women who actually try to apply makeup while behind the wheel..

I LOVE to parallel park,

& at the risk of being immodest..

I am the probably the best at parallel parking of anyone I know who's driven for at least 10 years.

I love putting my arm behind the passenger seat, & then twisting my upper torso halfway around..

then simply visualizing the correct angle to take, the right distance ahead of the space I'll be backing into, turning the wheel (without looking at it, of course) at the right speed..

1 day, I'm going to spend at least 1 hour..
simply..

parallel parking.

I have to agree with this. In the end, though, I suppose the idea of who's "better" goes to that sex which breaks fewer laws, dies less frequently on the road, etc. -- clearly women come out on top.

Women cannot drive...
No woman can drive...
No woman has ever been able to drive...
If a woman ever made it safely to her destination in a car, a man drove...
If a woman ever made it safely to her destination in a car and she was driving, it was an accident...

There was a man in the car though... that helps them focus on the road... get a car full of women on the road and people die.
