Dan Lacey the pancake painter passed away yesterday in his sleep . He had been fighting Brain Cancer. I met him in 2018 across the street from Paisley Park. He was painting a awesome picture of Prince and he was going to sell me the painting untill he took my cell phone number down and realized I was flying back to Seattle. He refused to sell me that painting and I was very upset. he sent me a text with a apoligy and said he would be happy to paint me a smaller painting. he was so concerned that the Plane would not let the Painting on. I have 4 Prints of Prince from him that he sent me. signed them all and we did talk a few times. I am very thankful that I met him. Dan is the one that would clean up the fence at Paisley Park and would take things home and put them in plastic and return them so they would not get ruined from the weather. He also cleaned up Riley Creek (Grafiti Bridge). He is so missed by many and loved by many. He leaves behind his wife Chris.
