(Almost) Forgot My Anniversary... Again!

Seriously. I'm starting to think there's something wrong with me. Today is my wedding anniversary. I completely forgot about it until literally 10 minutes ago as I type this. Last year, I forgot. The year before, I forgot. We're only married 3 years lol

I did! But my older sister very nearly didn't. A couple of days before the wedding I happened to be talking to her and I mentioned that I'd be getting married in a few days. She said "Is that this week? I thought it was next week". After all the stress I'd endured leading up to it I felt like ripping her head off. And I would have if she wasn't nearly a whole foot taller than me lol

It genuinely makes me feel better that I'm not the only one who forgets these things. Although I should remember. My ex boyfriend's birthday is on the same day.

No. Luckily for me my husband doesn't really put much stock into anniversaries and birthdays and such. What really bothers me though is that I keep forgetting it. Every year we've been married I've forgotten about it. Although, it was almost worth it because when I told my daughter that I forgot about it she just sighed and said "soft head". It caught me off guard. I just wasn't expecting it, which made it even funnier to me. I had no comeback for that lol

We had two weddings.

A "quicky" in Denmark, then, later a "churchy" in the hometown.

My wife always remembers the "churchy" one.

i, on the other hand, always remember the "quicky"!

I didn't get married in a church. It would have been a bit hypocritical of me to do that. Besides, my sister thinks if I went into a church I'd likely just turn into flames or something razz
