i never understood how people could have a velvet elvis an not live in a trailer without irony

Well here in southern Cal we are close to Tijuana and those Velvet Elvis paintings are sold like hotcakes lol. You also have to be Catholic to have one.

WOW...I'm entitled to one, then. Maybe they should just cut out the middle man and pass them out at Sunday mass.

I like NASCAR, got into it when I got married and got hooked. Jeff Gordon is my favorite driver. It is a different culture, I like the looks I get when I talk about racing...looks like, huh? you?

Not all NASCAR fans are rednecks!!!

I have no interest in racing and I live in Indy. It's one of the dumbest sports next to boxing.

It just is not like that... there are some shitty decisions, but a fixed fight is a relative rarity in the sport.

Did you see the Toney fight on Saturday? Toney won but nowhere near the margin the judges gave him. He was the name so he got the edge. It happens in all sports. You got the name, you get the call.

James Toney also got a GIFT decision against a guy named Dave Tiberi many years ago... Toney actually lost that fight BADLY and still got the decision. Nobody had heard of Tiberi... Toney was the hot item... Toney got the decision.

We need more fucking knockouts!!!

I remember that fight it was close. But Tiberi should have won. Toney was gewtting his ass kicked by nunn before he landed that lucky punch.

Some redneck at work was going on with his buddies about how great NASCAR is. This made me wonder what could possibly be so great about watching a bunch of dorks drive around in circles for a number of hours and wasting tons of fossil fuels in the process.

How fun is it watching a bunch of guys go in circles for hours???

===

i don't watch or enjoy nascar at all, but i completely understand it. i mean, besides fighting, racing (of one kind or other) is probably the oldest sport there is. and, i would imagine, that is the attraction.

Nascar...
