By the way, there are about six or seven major actors from Sense8 in the movie. No surprise since the Wachowski's produced the series and Lana headed up the movie.

Speaking as a fan AND a conspiracy researcher, The Matrix Resurrection is basically about the idea of a Metaverse [which is already happening since Mark Zuckerberg's announcement about this concept back in Novemeber 2021].

Also, the idea that most people want to be controlled by the system/matrix is sadly true. No matter how conscious or "woke" you are & no matter how often you tried to warn people about the ways they have been lied to about many things [especially concerning religions AND politics/governments....], most people do not want to hear it! They want that freaking blue pill! They want to remain in ignorances bliss so they will never have to work hard to seek out AND accept the ugly truth so they can be free!

As an anarchist of over a decade, this is very, very true. I make arguments on a government-less society, where communities handle their own opposed to a larger big brother entity, and people simply cannot concieve it. I get the "who will build the roads" argument, of course. But the very, larger, idea of people actually having to take responsibility and manage their own business is utterly frightening to them. They can't wrap their heads around it.

The only thing they are free from is responsibility. But even in a comedy movie like Austin Powers, there was a very telling line. "Right now, we have freedom and responsibility. It's a very groovy time." Maybe one day, it'll be way more groovy than it is now. Because I've never used AR or VR (outside of Pokemon Go a couple of weeks), and I never will. No one's strapping anything on me that plugs in.

I didn't catch all the dialog the first time around, so the second watch made it more enjoyable.

I will definately watch it again to catch anymore missed details.
