No idea how long it's been around but it's similar to Facebook but not nearly as bad

Reddit has some really good and informative threads when you are after information.

It also has opinion threads can be far worse than the most off the rails threads ever seen here. We are a niche forum based around Prince. Reddit is much wider and potentially wilder depending where you go there. |

It's a shit hole of angry white guys that often goes incredibly unmoderated. It's sorta like a low-key January 6, 2021 event.
I'm sure there are some decent areas. I don't care enough to explore.
My friend that I've known since first grade follows the Reddit for my town. Because he's like that. So he sends me random or weird updates about my town. haha " don’t really care so much what people say about me because it is a reflection of who they r." |

The only time I go there is when it comes up in searches on specific IT, technology and programming issues - it is fine there. |

I think it's apples and onions. Facebook isn't a message board of threads to find information like that. Reddit is, in effect. It's like compared the Org to Twitter or something.

i just really don't see the use for Facebook other than insecure people satisfy there need to be seen.
