I found the Org thru alt.music.prince waaaay back. I always wondered, how many folks jumped here from a.m.p., opposed to finding the Org on their own?

I wasn't on the internet when PPML was out, or was on with someone else's account as a subaccount. I didn't know about a.m.p. until 1999 (maybe late 1998). I think I sorta knew about the Org, but I don't remember the first time I joined. I left on my own (despite popular opinion otherwise), then came back, ironically, early April 2016.

I was in this other newsletter - wasn't there one by a guy named Hammer or something? I wrote an article about Emancipation. I wish I could find it.

I know that the PML ended up being a news letter. That was because someone who was kicked off kept posting massive emails that jamed up the system. The PML came in 2 forms a instant fowarding system and a digest....after all the spam it went to a digest only... then it changed hands and became the PPML....

I also know of various news letters and sites... I do not think I joined here until about 2001?
