Tornado disaster in Kentucky

At least 34 tornadoes swept across eight states, some torandoes 3/4 of a mile wide. Up to an F3, winds up to 155MPH.

Six dead at an Amazon warehouse in Illinois, more dead at a candle factory in Mayfield, Kentucky (over 100 people in the town dead).

Biden has pledged federal help and declared a federal emergency.

Just horrible, and very unusual for a tornado in December anywhere in the U.S. Amazing to watch folks on the news tonight look at their destroyed house, and say, "we're blessed," knowing it could have been worse.

Govenor Beshear says it could very well be the worse tornado disaster in the state in history. These poor people. It's going to take years to rebuild their homes, businesses, and the town.

Are there any orgers in this area?

How terrifying sad

If these things kick off at 3am and the powers out, how do people raise the alarm and get to shelter? Has anyone here done this?
