RIP: Betty White
Beloved actress, comedian and American icon Betty White has died, just weeks before a milestone birthday. Law enforcement sources say Betty passed away at her home just before 9:30 AM Friday.

What a sad way to end the year. She missed her 100th birthday by only 17 days. A funny lady and a great talent. She was absolutely priceless as Sue Ann Nivens and I loved her in the Golden Girls too. Very sad news.  | |

Thank you. I don't understand people who say they are upset by someone dying at nearly 100. It's the most natural thing, and is likely even welcome. I had an aunt who died at 103, and for years she wanted it to be over. |

I'm surprised Betty White never appeared on the original Twilight Zone. So many actors from her generation guest starred on the Twilght Zone such as Jack Klugman, Carol Burnett, William Shatner, Elizabeth Montgomery just to name a few |

I loved her game show appearances. She was so good on them and totally was my childhood watching her. The Golden Girls is a pure classic. My mom introduced me to that show. Also,she had a funny little part in You Again with Jamie Lee Curtis and Sigourney Weaver. Her rival in the movie was Cloris Leachman. Kind of an overlooked comedy. She will be missed. | |
