Seems movie and show threads have died around here. But it's the holidays they're going to be coming out in droves, I can't get them all in my avatar.

Charismatic rancher Phil Burbank inspires fear and awe in those around him. When his brother brings home a new wife and her son, Phil torments them until he finds himself exposed to the possibility of love.

I'm trying to figure out the charismatic part, he was an a-hole in need of therapy. Good, real dark movie. Very subtle film. You can see the twist end coming but not the form it comes in.

It is in Turkish with English sub titles. Amazing acting. Netflix

One fucked up fight!

Power of the Dog bored the crap out of me. Great acting and scenery was gorgeous. But I fell asleep at least 3 times throughout the move. it was soooo slowwww. My husband loved it. So maybe I was just tired.

Does the Beatles Get Back count as a movie? Thats the best one I have seen lately.
