RIP: Eddie Mekka (from Laverne and Shirley)

Actor Eddie Mekka, who plays Carmine Ragusa on Laverne and Shirley, Shirley's off-and-on boyfriend has passed away at age 69. No reason for his death was given.

He starred in many things before and after, but was best known as The Big Ragoo on the show.

Mekka is one of many stars from the show to have died.

David Lander, Squiggy, died December 2020.

Penny Marshall, Laverne, died December 2018.

Phil Foster, Frank DeFazio, died July 1985.

Betty Garrett, Edna DeFazio, died February 2011.
