Does anyone else listen to the Morbid podcast?

Two ladies discuss true crimes in exhaustuive and gruesome details.

I really dig it and they do not hold back.

Anyone else have true crime podcasts they listen to?

Not I but I watched some vids on what morticians do to make a decomposing body presentable for viewing by families. No visuals but it was interesting to even know that's e k ow it was possible.

I have a friend that does it for a living. Seems like you have to really be an artist and good at managing crisis with families for that job.

When I was a kid I had a friend whose Mom did that as an assistant to a mortician; she worked all night and left the kids home alone. Gruesome job.

I binged thru several of these, yeah. They're pretty good. Several of these cases I'd never heard of.

Its a hard job, but someone has to do it. That is what interests me the most. So many people want to be lawyers, execs and accountants and all that boring stuff...but I have always been more fascinated by gritty real life situations no one wants to dig into.

Oh yeah, i love all that stuff. Crime Junkie, Morbid, Unsolved Mysteries Podcast(different from the UM TV Show), Weird Darkness, The Dark Side Of..., Dateline, Murder In America etc. For the past few months I've been listening to podcasts more than music. My main podcasts are paranormal and science related, but crime podcasts are a close second. I've always been fascinated by serial killers etc. I'm a non violent person(just so you all know ) , but I've seen a lot of it in my lifetime, and always wonder why humans destroy each other in unimaginable ways.


One thing i will say is be careful of what you see, read and listen to on the internet. Once you experience that stuff you can't take it back. I remember reading Koby Bryant's Autopsy report, and i kind of wish i hadn't. Same with reading and hearing recordings and transcripts of plane crashes(from actual cockpit and aircraft cabin recordings). Hearing all those peoples screams had me messed up for a few days.

I would be interested in hearing that just out of curiosity. I like to scare myself...to humble myself and be thankful for my life. That is kind of why I am interested in stuff like this.

I would be interested in hearing that just out of curiosity. I like to scare myself...to humble myself and be thankful for my life. That is kind of why I am interested in stuff like this.

I totally get it. Shoot, I think i was born with a curiosity about death, serial killers, ghosts, the afterlife, spirituality, different religions, God etc. When i was a kid(around 8) i saw this child(maybe a year old) fall out of a high rise window and die(not the only death I've seen though). And, i briefly met the serial killer Richard Ramirez when he came to San Francisco. That sick bastard straight up had a negative vibe about him. And both me and my mom were(she's no longer with us) fascinated by ghost. I have family members who say they have seen things, so go figure.

Wow, cant believe you met this guy? They said his breath was horrible.

The episodes about the Pinkin or Pinkman Farm...whatever it was called...was a story I'd never heard about before and jesus christ.

Oh I listened to the three part series. I knew about the guy, but they really went in with detail! THink his name was Robert Pinkton.
