Has anyone used one?
Do they work?
Are there any pit falls?

My friend is in the depths of despair when it comes to the type of men she attracts. I want to suggest this to her as an option but know zero. Nothing. My husband is fed up with her bringing her problems to us as she chooses 5he most awful men but they are all she is presented with. It's not her, they have been the pits.

This isn't a man bashing thread at all! This is just the men she has matched with ....

She is auccesful and quite wealthy so she can pay the fees but she can't take any more heartache.

Is it worth it or are they a con?

I don't have personal experience with one but there seems to be a lot of them and they seem to thrive financially well. I don't think they're cheap though, similar to therapy.

Shame your friend doesn't live in Ireland. My ex boyfriend is currently single and is one hell of a catch.

But to answer your question, no, I have no experience with these kinds of services. I've always had a negative impression of them though. They seem kind of seedy to me.

Bumble is ok, the female has to message first. Haven’t had success yet with it, but it’s better than the other apps imo
