What? Posting links with absolutely no info on what it is? There's a butt load of vids on YouTube about National Parks, some actually require a payment to see. What's your point? Are you pro national parks, pro Ken Burns or pro PBS? Is this for a tiny select few who happen to know who Ken is? What?

Really?

Was my point THAT hard to follow?

Why don't you actually try looking at the clips next time.

I might as well just go to YouTube and randomly click on videos in that case. Thank you for your effort.

I am kind of curious what's he being blamed for but I'm not clicking a link where I can't Google the info myself. I did this but so much came up that didn't specify anything. Oh well too much other stuff going on to worry about it.

Ridiculous. No, Ken Burns is not to blame for whatever negative nonsense the original poster is trying to push. America's national parks are there for people to enjoy. Maybe they shoudl watch the documentary.

Not clicking on any links either. Dumbness.

I get it without clicking on the videos....

Ken Burns popularizes shit with his epic documenteries...

People flock to the parks, overcrowding...

and then getting in trouble with the wildlife.

it's a funny post!

Believe it or not I directed Ken Burns for a little promo years ago... sort of... lol (the extent of which was he was saying "thank you" to a rich arts donor straight into my video camera, and I aksed him to do it again because I wanted to make sure I got the focus right. I didn't know what to say to him, he's a legend... "sir"? "Please"? I just said "one more Ken!?" and he did! He was super nice.

I even went to a big group dinner with him ( I was hired to photograph some of it). He's a Star Wars fan!

This thread is dumb. The mods should wake up from their slumber and lock it.

It's happening across the board. I watched a special not too long ago about this...
The Instagram Obsession That’s Killing Flower Fields

The quest for likes and follows on social media can, unfortunately, cause a cycle of overtourism with destructive consequences, just by doing something so seemingly innocent as discovering and sharing a picturesque location. With the help of hashtags and geotags, any post from any location can go viral. Naturally, other travelers will become attracted to the site in their own quest for similar photographs and for first-hand experiences with what they’ve seen online.

Ha, the same picture I visualize. But yeah it seems to be a massive problem in a lot of areas. I call it the, I have my rights, syndrome.
