Debate about watching "Love on the Spectrum".

I've watched it. I enjoy it. I find a sweetness to it that I find calming.

Oh yeah. What is it? A reality show about people on the austistic spectrum dating and finding love.

For me the plus is it doesn't have the faux drama that other reality shows stir up and thrive on. It just has the innocence of young people dating.

I've read a review, by someone who's on the spectrum, and they listed things that were missing in the show, such as giving neurotypical type dating advice opposed to tailoring it, I agree but overall they appreciated the show.

But I was told it's creepy to watch that kind of stuff. Including shows with the little people, I've watched those too. That it's the modern version of watching those carnival acts from days of old. Maybe there's a point to that. I never saw it that way. I actually find them insightful. Thoughts?

Watch Born This Way on A&E, about a group of young people with Down Syndrome (in their 20s), maneuvering through life. Through the course of it, a couple of them fall in love. It's a very sweet show.

EDIT: wrong syndrome! Oops.

I wonder if that's the same reality series of a group going on the road as stand up comedians. I saw only a couple of episodes of that.

Nope. Born This Way is a really sweet reality series on A&E, ran for about 3 years or so. (I used to watch it the same night as Scientology: Aftermath, which was my jam.)

I think the one you're talking about is the group of all males (four or five of them) that bought an RV, had breakdown troubles, and performed in different places; one of which they bombed in and people weren't impressed. Others loved it. I forget the name of that one. And I just watched it like two months ago.
