Queens, drama series on ABC/Ch 7. Eve is one of the characters.
I was really hoping I would like this show. I watched the first 20 minutes and completely lost interest. "It's not nice to fuck with K.B.! All you haters will see!" - Kitbradley

PJMcGee said: I did enjoy the first two episodes of Chucky, mainly because the main character is gay, and I like the fact that all these high school kids curse like real high school kids, at least if you catch the show after 10 p.m. The main character isn't a stereotype either. He is an artist and couldn't relate to his homophobic father, but he isn't effeminate, and neither is his crush. Not that there's anything wrong with being effeminate. I just like that they didn't go for something too obvious. I thought it was cute that everyone somehow seems to know about the guy and his crush, and throw them in a closet for "seven minutes in hell." (I think "hell" was just because it was a Halloween party, not anything judgmental.) Unfortunately the guy is very concerned about his psychotic doll, and nothing happens with his crush.
I liked the fact there is another killer (besides Chucky) in the series. The maid knew to much and that is why someone killed her. Wait what? I thought they showed Chucky pushing her. |

I thought they just showed his reflection in the knives. Chucky said he didn't kill her and why would a killer doll lie about that? The mother has some kind of secret. Also actress Jamillah Ross (the neighbor who got the razor blade apple from Chucky in the Halloween episode) played the character of Gladys Cravitz, another clear shout out to the Bewithed noisy neighbor Gladys Kravitz

I didn't see yesterday's episode, so maybe I'm missing something. But I think he just lied to Jake, his "owner," because it was a random act, not something he could explain by saying he was doing it for Jake. |

I don't think so. Chucky admits to killing (won't say who because that was last nights episode and don't want to ruin it for you) but won't admit to killing the maid? The Chucky we all know would say something like "yeah I killed the fucking maid, stop being a fucking pussy about it". |

Yeah I don't really know Chucky, but isn't he trying to make Jake feel complicit in the deaths, trying to turn him into a psycho, mentoring him in a twisted way? A random death of an innocent person might ruin that? |

Chucky admitted to killing Jake's dad, Chucky tells Jake he wants to kill Lexy, so why won't he admit to killing the maid??????? The series needs to have twist in the plot. The Aunty has a secret which was established in episode 1. |

Because Jake told his father he wished he, the father, had died instead of his mother, and he hated Lexy for being so mean to him? So they weren't innocent victims in Jake's mind?
I don't know. We'll see how it works out. |

Well if your not into scfi then it's not for you. I hope there is a beginning, a middle, and a end to the series and the network won't drag it out like they did for Lost and Smallvile
I hope so, too. Loved Lost at first but they eventually lost me... My son and I used to watch Smallville every week but the show went downhill after Clark moved to Metropolis; we kept expecting bigger and better events that never happened... I just rewatched the scene in which the maid was killed. We don't actually see Chucky killing the maid. We just see his reflection in the knives then Chucky laughing. I thought Chucky killed her too but Chucky insisted he didn't kill her. |

Yeah the problem with Lost is that the network wanted more thus the writers started dragging the series out. Problem with Smallville was Tom Welling did not want to put on the Superman suit so because of that the series also was being dragged out. La Brea seems to be moving kinda fast. They are already planning 2nd rescue and the survivors have encounter other humans who seem to be from modern times as well. |
