Have any of you ever messed with a Ouija board? Hear me out,or read me out I love horror films and spirits do not scare me.I have never seen a ghost before but even if I did I don't think I would be frightened because I believe spirits/ghosts can't physically harm us A friend of mine has a ouija board stored away in their closet. I asked if incould use it and she said OH NO but she wouldn't elaborate on why she said it I have never used one but have seen it being used in horror movies So should I use one? Have any of you? Any stories to share?

When I was in school we messed around with a Ouija board one Halloween. Nothing happened though because it's all a load of bollocks and there's no such thing as ghosts and spirits.

Ummm don't. No reason to. Play with any other board game. Never burn an Ouija board. If you want to get rid of it, bury it. Don't throw it in a trash can because you don't want somebody else taking it home with them.

never heard that before...........what would happen if you burned it? .........burying it is probly bad for the environment since their not biodegradible. I've dated outside of my race and I discovered that Good Pussy is Good Pussy and Good Booty is Good Booty regardless of ethnicity...I don't have a Fetish for only Big White Tits, Big White Butts or Phat White Pussy.(chancellor) wise man !

Yup, us kids found a 50 year old Ouija Board one long hot summer in the attic at my Grandparents farm and tried it out many times. We all claimed that the "spirits" were contacting us but, of course, it was just us lying and pushing the pointer around the board... A bunch of us tried contacting hosts, casting spells, and what not up through middle school because we all wanted to encounter beings from the other side...but no cigar. The only scary experience was another Ouija Board reading at a sleepover when I was 12 where curtains suddenly blew out in the dark...but it turned out to be a girl's older brother fucking with us like on a Brady Bunch episode... On the other hand, as an adult I have experienced the odd Deja vue or dream that was too close to reality to be merely written off as coincidental... But meeting ghosts or spirits--nope! If the board did open up to the other side people think that by burning it that would solve the problem. Wrong, burning it causes the bad spirits to escape. They said if you got an evil spirit board burying it is the best thing to do. I know we all want to go green but I think burying a few evil ouija boards won't ruin the Earth's eco system that much

Yes. There was this one time at band camp someone introduced a Ouija board. The arrow thingy proceeded to move by itself, spelling the letters G-O A-W-A-Y. We didn't get anything after that. It was kind of a letdown. The world's problems like climate change can only be solved through strategic long-term thinking, not expediency. In other words all the govts. need sacking!
If you can add value to someone's life then why not. Especially if it colors their days...

Yeah it's ok to burn/destroy Ouija boards that were not used to summons the other side beacuse at this point they are just boards. Like I said before if the board was use to cantact thr otherside, bury it. If it's a board you bought and have second thoughts and no contact was made with the other side it's ok to burn/destroy/bury it. Don't throw it away in the trash because you don't want other people to use it. Also there are cases were people who contacted the otherside decided to throw away their ouija boards in the trash can only to have them reappear in their house again. [Edited 9/22/21 9:35am]

A fun way for gullible people to freak themselves out of an evening with the ideomotor effect. https://www.bbc.com/futur...board-move Yes, tried it as a kid. We “summoned” a dead relative. Then we branched out and spoke to living friends and a couple of cartoon characters. Then the doorbell rang. It was the pizza man delivering garlic bread. We couldn’t afford pizza. Then we raided my friends Dad’s liquor cabinet but all he had was Campari and Ouzo. We mixed them together. Looking back It’s hard to know what the worst thing about that evening was. If the milk turns out to be sour, I aint the kinda pussy to drink it!

I agree. It is a great film. But for some reason I have never been scared of ghosts, exorcisms or the possessed or even haunted houses I am not sure why.I am more scared of serial killers.Maybe because a serial killer has been proven to be real and the other stuff i mentioned hasn't "Halloween" from 1978 is my favorite horror film. What is yours? Shawshank redemption is GREAT. I love the conjuring, the latest one, part 3 is my favorite. I love Dolores Claiborne. Even though it also isn't a horror movie I have seen it so much I quote lines from the film to family members and we all laugh Particularly the scene when Dolores leads her abusive Joe to the well. If by "messed with" you mean - scaring the shit out of your friends/siblings using this game in the dark with a candle, the answer would be a yes.

Not hell no, not shit no, but motherf--k no! And I do not want to be in the same building, let alone same room, where people are planning a get together to used an Ouija board. . Given that I was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, a city & state with it own shares of stories involving the dark side of occult science, those damn Ouija boards are nothing to take lightly. People messing around with the unknown and receiving the wrong attention of an entity is a recipe for disater. [Edited 10/1/21 6:01am]
