Watching Mayim Bialik on YouTube....

I like listening to some people talk. She's one of them. Been listening to her mental health podcast. For someone with social anxiety she sure can talk. About everything. I like her going on vacation as a family, divorced.

I like her too, so much so that I even watch her "Miranda" remake "Call Me Cat". Yes it's not good, but it has her and Leslie Jordan so...

I tried watching it because I liked her on Blossom and The Big Bang Theory

and I also like Kyla Pratt but I watched the first episode and it was horrible.

Though I watched TBBT and Blossom, I always think of that character of hers in Beaches when she's talking. shrug I never was drawn to the new series but I'm enjoying her podcast. I get a kick out of her mom.

She's been pretty good on Jeopardy. Not good enough to get the job full-time (if she even wanted it), but better than some of the other temp hosts. She has a nice tempo (some people were too slow) and she reads out loud VERY well so at least the answers make sense (some of the other people, not so much).

Levar Burton's fans have been campaigning hard for him to get the job.

I think it's his to lose.

Mayim's series has been renewed so I doubt she wants it.

I am one of those people. As soon as I heard he was interested I was like, "Yes! Please!" I am the biggest Stat Trek geek and come on! The Reading Rainbow?! lol But as much as I want that and would enjoy it, I don't think he'll get it. My guess right now (I have a series recording set for Jeopardy - never miss an episode) would be Buzzy Cohen. Of the temp hosts so far he had the best combined personality and pacing overall (after his first episode). More importantly, he was albe to do that thing that Alex did where it felt like he cared when the contestants messed up, even if he was playfully chiding them for being stupid. lol I'm probably wrong, though, and I definitely want Burton to get the job (even without seeing his temp episodes yet).

Agreed. Too old and as much as I love the guy, maybe a little too off center personality wise for nightly Jeopardy watchers. I love his always slightly too excited delivery on Reading Rainbow and as Geordi, but I can easily see it not working for people who don't. Be interesting to see his temp host episodes - I hope he kills it.

Jeopardys cool. I've been trying to find what she does with her degree though. I'm very curious given her stance on a lot of things how it works in her field of study. Nosy, nosy, nosy. I used to watch her on a couple of science panel groups (yes I enjoy those too) I know in that field she would have had to speak up and let her voice be heard. I'm sure the acting helped.

Update. I found it. That was a long search.

Me too! One of my fav shows. The entire cast is awesome. I've seen every show several times and still laugh out loud.

Leslie Jordan is the only bright spot in that. I stopped watching that dreadful show after 4 episodes. Love Miranda-I don't know what Call Me Kat is supposed to be. (It's not a remake in my mind).

My Mom loves Levar as the host best. (She isn't aware of Reading Rainbow and doesn't know about his Star Trek or Roots days (Maybe if they showed her a picture from Roots-she would remember him.)

It's comedy in a vacuum.

It's a shame because it's all laid out for them in the original "Miranda" show. All they had to do is carbon copy it for people who haven't seen the original.

The sets are too big. The cast could use some tweeking (even though I have nothing against the actors they have they just don't seem to go together on this show).

Cheyenne Jackson is hot enough, but the guy who's her boyfriend on the show is closer to who she should be pining over, while Cheyenne should've been one of her suitors.

Aside from a wasted Bialik and adorable Leslie Jordan the show is just all wrong.

Honestly I don't know, I've never investigated it. I know there are a mountain of detailed history stuff there. I don't see why there wouldn't be some form of "fun with flags". If you meant literally with those cast members again I don't know but it's a popular subject from TBBT fan so who know what could have been fixed up there. It's a giant rabbit hole.

Yes I meant that, and not pass clips from the series. I mean I would love it now, 2021, if they (Original cast members) would do a fun with flags on youtube. Heck I wish they made the serial Apist movie staring Kaley Cuoco...........and part 2

She's not a neurosurgeon. That would require an MD and a metric shit-ton of medical school, intern, residency etc. She is a neuroscientist PhD--thus she still has the Dr. in her name. I know...potato-potahto.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

As for the brain gummies, I could down a 55 gallon drum of regular gummies. Yeah, I've been thinking about it. But I still need to do research.
