PSA! Why Are You NOT Supporting These Youtubers? (There's NO Excuse!)

I know there's a LOT of junk out there and I'm not the only one that has wasted too many valuable hours watching videos on youtube.

But soaring above the slime is some quality talent that deserves your time, attention, and when feasible financial support.

Here are the ones I've come across that are the most worthy:

>

The Martial Club

These guys have a singular mission to bring martial arts action flicks back. And if they can't do it with their flashy, acrobatic style then no one can. Your jaw will drop!

IP Man

>

ItsAGundam

This man is funny. I believe he's a Twitch gamer but I know him from youtube where he does commentary on "Twitch thots", movies, news and any hot topic of the day. He should have his own talk show.

images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQ3taiVAoOelFeuDZofrSCgy_0-7LHzCoDWxsQHNOwk18DIYhC-PZGs0lb_nMkCcIrLaF0&usqp=CAU

ItsAGundam doesn't like Lilly Singh either.

>

Philion

Jersey teen who fell into fitness trend and discovered everyone was on steroids.

Philion is a comedian as well but his focus is on the fitness industry and now a subject I never cared about is suddenly laugh out loud funny. There's a lot of unfunny stuff out there. He also deserves more attention.

The White House Fake Natty.

>

Zoe Hong

If you want to learn anything, ANYTHING about fashion design, then Zoe Hong is the woman for you. She'll have you drawing and coming up with ideas in no time. And if you want to know the ins and outs of starting your own thing she's got you covered. Plus a nice, droll sense of humor.

Why I'll Never Go On Project Runway!

>

JonathanOng

JonathanOng is a piano meastro who takes requests, mashes them up and turns them into elaborate jams. Master of many electronic instruments (he even picks up an occasional flute now and then) jonathan's streams can go on for hours. He's my real life Bruno Martelli (FAME). Discovered him on youtube but experience him on Twitch.

Heavy on the politics are we?

I know Halper from her Useful Idiots podcast with Matt Taibbi, whom I adore.

But they've parted ways with Rolling Stone. I'm sure for financial reasons.

Matt Taibbi is an awesome writer, and both times I considered subscribing to Rolling Stone he detatched himself from the enterprise.

Someone needs to give him his own hourlong ala Rachelle Maddow!

Checking them out now! Have family in town staying at my place for a couple weeks so I may not get to deep dive too much at the moment, but I'll come back to them. As you can see, I enjoy the youtubes.

I never watch anything on YouTube other than travel and music. The rest is a
bunch of wannabe celebrity crap or very scary bullshit "news".

There's an abundance of celebrity gossip, sjw and anti-sjw, and reaction videos on youtube.

My picks have the bonus of at least having variety and some bona fide talents.

Well, no, it's very clearly not as absolutely nothing I linked to falls under those descriptors. YouTube is no different than the internet at large, netflix, television, radio, whatever... it's what you choose to make it. If you want to watch wannabee celebrity crap or very scary bullshit news (of which there is an abundance) you certainly can. But that's not all that's there, so it's a personal choice if that's all someone watches on the platform.

I've used YouTube as a supplement to my photography class. Tons on natural hair , skin care. I have religious and science podcasters I follow. Listened to some audiobooks. Checking out places to move to. As well as entertainment and silly stuff but I don't have tendency to follow that stuff with consistency. I tend to leave the toxic, let's blame everybody finger pointing stuff, alone unless I'm specifically directed to it. There is a wealth of great things there but given it's opened to anyone and everyone to post whatever for clicks, one does have to be selective.
Time keeps on slipping into the future...

This moment is all there is...
