Which movie or tv role of Janet’s did you guys enjoy the most if you’re familiar with her acting?

I loved her on Good Times. (Also her spot on Diff'rent Strokes). She is very likeable on screen.

99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment

She totally is! Enjoyed the episodes with her in them when they had reruns years ago

I wish she would do more movies, they’re just as exciting as her music imo

I just watched, Why did I get married, again. I saw nothing wrong with it. There's a boatload of similar movies every year like it. Janet up there giving marriage advice. Giggle. Anyway she's up to something based on her tweets.

Yeah the sequel. Apparently she was encouraged to put her rage over mjs death into this role

Jj is very likeable.. I think it shines through in her roles. She can act but I don't know she could do any role thrown at her.

I'd like to see her do a well-directed musical...like Chicago which Queen Latifa appeared in.

That would be great, though she shies away from musical roles. She was supposed to sing for the Chicago soundtrack, but it didn’t materialize

Was there any truth to the rumor she was up for the role of Storm in the first X-Men movie? I always thought she'd make a good Storm. Her When I Think Of You look reminded me the most of Storm.

Here's how would you rank Janet's movies? From best to worst mine would go:

Poetic Justice
Nutty Professor II
For Colored Girls...
Why Did I Get Married
Why Did I Get Married Too

The sequel to Married has one of the worst most laughable endings in a movie I've seen. I felt bad for Janet because I thought early on she had some really good scenes but that ending with the Rock and what happens to her ex is so ridiculous.

Poetic Justice is Janet at her best I think. It's also my favorite Singleton film. Really Tupc steals this movie with his performance. It's cool to see him play a non thug role. Janet's Again song over the end credits is one of my favorite ballads of hers.

I would rank the movies in the same order as you. I think poetic justice is a cult classic and also really love again, it’s one of her best for sure

She was shown the set of x men but couldn’t do it due to touring

Poetic Justice is great
Nutty Professor II a nice Eddie Murphy comedy with her a better lead than Jada Pinkett
WDIGM is alright
WDIGM II and FCG are trash

I thought for coloured girls was well done, for a play brought to screen, and covered obstacles faced by black women well

Iman would have been great! I'm surprised they didn't consider her. I thought Halle Berry was pretty mediocre in the role but got better in the sequels.
