Jaws is definitely one of the best! I also liked Knick Knack. Some of my other favorites May Day (Grace Jones), Baron Samedi (Geoffrey Holder), Kamal Khan (Louis Jordan), Scaramanga (Christopher Lee), Max Zorin (Christopher Walken), Blofeld (Telly Savalas & Donald Pleasence) Dario (Bencio Del Toro) and Sanchez (Robert Davi). Most underrated Bond villain Kristatos play by Julian Glover in For Your Eyes Only. I really enjoyed his performance. [Edited 5/24/21 15:52pm]

I love their names, Odd Job, Knick Knack, Jaws, May Day, they sound like characters from the 80's G.I Joe Cartoon

Telly Savalas as Blofeld with his hypnotized girls was pretty creepy. Mind control, that's much more scary than bad guys going around beating people up. So he was one of the best (or worst!) villains even if George Lazenby wasn't the best Bond.
And that's also why I always found that Jaws character boring. Goldfinger and Dr. No were also good. Those early Bond films were the best! When Roger Moore took over, it became more of a parody. Fun at times, but nothing that you remember. (Although The Man with the Golden Gun was good.) And neither Timothy Dalton nor Pierce Brosnan nor Daniel Craig can ever top Sean Connery. He was, is and always will be the best. And this is why the best Bond villains and the best Bond go hand in hand. They need each other. Bond belongs to the Cold War when there was a nice clear distinction between good and bad. West: good, East: bad. That's one of the reasons that Bond movies aren't what they used to be. Another reason is that since then we've had action movies like Die Hard and a Bond movie really isn't that special anymore. So I think it's time to let the man retire.
