I can make it in 9 minutes...
My wife actually works closer, but because she takes the kids to school, it takes her about 30 minutes... Traffic is a MAJOR thorn in my side, regularly. U can't go ANYWHERE after 3pm... Too many ppl in the world... Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind. | |

Oh, about five minutes... and it'd be shorter if I weren't driving in downtown traffic. In fact, it probably wouldn't hurt me to walk to work now that it's warm outside.
Worst commute I had was 58 minutes (yes, I timed it)... I did that for two months when I moved to another city but kept my job (I knew it was a temporary situation, because I was going back to school in the fall). Fortunately it was a "reverse commute"; i.e., I was going out of a major city in the morning when everyone else was going in, and vice-versa in the evening. BTW, I've heard of people who work in Boston and drive two hours each way to get to work... I can't imagine wasting four hours of each day like that. Please note: effective March 21, 2010, I've stepped down from my prince.org Moderator position. |
