The Falcon and the Winter Soldier - It was 3.5 out of 5. It didn't feel as significant as Wandavision, which was really a tale unto itself. (Excited for Loki, and The Bad Batch soon.)

Been rewatching The Nanny on HBOMax. I don't normally revisit older shows, but it's been so fun. I'm into season 3.

Currently 3 episodes into THEM on Prime. Loving it so much.

Watched The Handmaid's Tale season 4 episode 3, and started a thread if anyone's interested.

Also, I watched The Real World: Homecoming. It was pretty incredible that Becky still holds the same white lady privilege that every other white woman who claims to not be racist and be woke does. Yet the things she said, in 2021, about race was beyond cringeworthy. Just.....GOD. I wanted to slap her. Kevin Powell struggled to make her see some things, but she packed her bags and suddenly left the loft with no warning to anyone (even the crew). Coward, like most people who just can't take the note about their inherent racism and make a correction.

Aside from Becky, the reunion was so great to watch and see these people together again. I realized just how much they helped shape the social landscape. Norman being an out gay man on a national TV show and be sexual was amazing. Kevin saying things about race that society as a whole are just now hearing since Michael Brown, Eric Garner, Tamir Rice, Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, etc. YEARS LATER, and folks are just how saying. It was amazing. Kevin Powell, a young Black man (painted as the angry Black man, wrongly so) and aspiring writer just wanted to make shit a little better.

Oh puuuleeeze. That Kevin guy was a knob. "Black people can't be racist"? Give me a fukn break.

Nope I'm not crazy. For some weird reason I couldn't post text inside of my image so I'm

replying to my own post. I rate this series a 5 out of 5. I'm watching season 3 on the Allblk channel

formerly UMC. This series is Demetria McKinney's best role imo. She was solid on Saints And Sinners too before exiting after last season. Solid cast with Welcome Back Kotter alum Lawrence Hilton Jacobs as the head of the family, Brad James, Paula Jai Parker and

Lisa Raye McCoy and former child star Parker McKenna Posey joining the cast on Season 2.

Lisey's Story is out on 🍎TV➕ today, first two episodes. It's an 8-part mini-series based on Stephen King's thriller of the same name. SK wrote the teleplay for the series.

15 minutes in and it's very much like the book so far. It's not how I pictured Lisey Landon, played by Julianne Moore, but she's always brilliant in everything she does. It also stars Clive Owen as Scott Landon (Lisey's now dead writer husband), Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Joan Allen.

Moore, King, and J. J. Abrams executive produce. The book is so textured and rich, so I'm excited to see how it all turns out on TV.

I had never heard of "In Treatment" until I saw the ads with Uzo Aduba, and I thought ok that's very different. I went back and started watching the first 3 seasons with Gabriel Bryne. I enjoyed it even though it's all dialog driven and pretty much takes place in a one room at a time since each episode is centered on single thearpy session. I loved how his accent got so thick when his character was being its authentic self as opposed to being in professional mode. I've gotten 2 epis in to this 4th season with Uzo and I really like it also. I like how the look is so different, her house is so retro. They're spending on styling. You understand immediately the difference. Still very dialog driven.

.....never really watched it on netflix but I did see something like a best-of videoclip on Pornhub which was kinda kinky....one of the ladies in the picture had a kinky MFM threesome with two dudes cuz her bf was kinda into it so like Rose from Wild Style she gave it to aaaallll them graffiti guys ha ha ha .....but for real tho, she sucked both their dicks and had sex with both guys but Ion know if she did a DP or DPP cuz I watched that clip high as a kite around midnight or maybe 2 a.m but they was getting down for real......then I read the comments and the Pornhub community said it was called Elite, a Spanish TV show on Netflicx ....times they are a changing like my man Bob Dylan used to say....(Bob....spell that shit backwards...what´s it say? Same muthafuckin shit ha ha ha lol lol lol....but I digress....I liked that scene even tho MFM DP aint my cup of tea unless my main man Bo is involved cuz he nasty.....big, bold, nasty and kinky....we used to live together and buddybated a lot but I never liked that he would watch American Dad and Family Guy and all them stupid shows on Comedy Central ....but we boyz....we down....for whatever....

this show shonuff kinky tho..

I think young folks under 35 got it much, much better than my generation.....peeps be sayin that generation Z aint sexxxin no more but I beg to differ....they kinky, nasty, open-minded, creative and they have better drugs, too.

aaaaaahhhhhh......if only we could all be young and kinky again...

Just finished binge watching this series several years after it was released. It was surprisingly good and by Season two had a philosophical depth to it that enriched its already entertaining qualities. Laura Dern was wonderful, as was Diane Ladd as her mother.

Season 1: **** (of 5)

Season 2: ***** (of 5)

Season 2 (4.25 stars out of 5). I was hesitant to watch season 2, figuring there were only so many ways to milk the same cow. Surprisingly, Season 2 was better than Season 1. I was particularly impressed with how nuanced the writing and acting was of the mother character who was struggling to come to terms with learning that her son was gay. It also addressed mental illness and cultural issuea without heavy handedness.

The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr. (TV Series 1993–1994) - IMDb

Decided to check out a TV series I have never seen before, 1993 Brisco County Jr. First of all it stars Bruce Campbell, enough said. Just watched the 2 hour pilot movie, loved it. Love the sci-fi meets wild west theme of it. Also stars John "Gomez Adams" Austin, who is also great in the show. He kinda reminds of Doc Brown from back to the future. popcorn

I did not know this.

This makes me sad.

Manifest and God Friended Me were my favorite network shows. Now that they're both gone there really is no reason for me to watch network television.

Yes, I think that is getting increasingly true for many people. Even the few shows I still watch - Gray's Anatomy and This is Us - I am about to quit due to a marked decline in quality, For nostalgic reasons, I hope they survive by putting out better product that people actually want to see. Also, I think it will always be important to have some type of tv available for those who can't afford subscriptions. This doesn't mean it should be trash tv. I guess the more creative types are drawn to the relative freedom of the streaming services. By the way, sorry your two shows got cancelled sad.

I forgot about PBS, mainly because their seasons are so short its almost like waiting an entire year for new episodes of their programs.

But yes PBS is notoriously consistent with reliable "old fogy" television, and what better way to end the week than with their Sunday night combo of "Miss Scarlet and the Duke" and the delightful "All Creatures Great and Small". Hopefully since they're hits now they'll at least get ten episode runs next year.
