Josh Duggar, of '19 Kids and Counting,' arrested by federal agents in Arkansas

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Josh Duggar, a former star of TLC’s "19 Kids and Counting," was arrested Thursday by federal agents and was being held without bond in Arkansas.

The 33-year-old was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals Service and booked Thursday afternoon into the Washington County jail. Online records did not indicate on what charges he was arrested.

TMZ reported in late 2019 that Homeland Security agents raided a car dealership that he works for in Springdale, Arkansas. The outlet said the raid had been in connection to a federal probe, but no further details were released.

Duggar starred on TLC’s "19 Kids and Counting" until it was pulled from the network in 2015 over allegations that Duggar had molested four of his sisters and a babysitter. Duggar’s parents said he had confessed to the fondling and apologized. He was never charged.

Duggar, the eldest child of Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar, also previously apologized for a pornography addiction and for cheating on his wife, Anna Duggar.

Anna announced earlier this week that she and Josh are expecting their seventh child in the fall.

Dollars to donuts that's what this is about.

OR, plot twist:

He's now delved into owning and distributing child pornography.

Those who protest too much...

Oh he's spreading his molesting ways. I wonder if they are literalist enough to practice "if your left hand offends thee" scripture? Probably not.

Welp, I called that one. He's been charged with two counts of child pornography.

In part, TMZ reports:

"According to the legal docs, the "19 Kids and Counting" star knowingly received child porn in mid-May 2019. He's accused of knowingly possessing images of child pornography, including images of minors below the age of 12.

Duggar's been charged by indictment with receiving and possessing child pornography -- one count each. If convicted, he faces up to 20 years of imprisonment and fines up to $250,000.00 on each count.

He's been ordered to forfeit any material related to the case to authorities, including turning over any and all computer equipment.

Duggar appeared before the judge at the Western District of Arkansas Federal Court from jail via Zoom, where he entered a plea of not guilty on all counts."

His trial is set for July.

Feel bad for his wife. From what I understand a few days before he was arrested she was on social media going hard on singing his praises telling everyone what a great guy he was.

Of course she is! Let me share something about this:

My dad remarried a woman in 1980. He almost immediately started molesting her youngest son (she had two, the youngest was about 6 years old at the time). He did it for a decade. I called the cops on him when I found out. The child was 16 on the day the cops and CPS came out. Yes, he was in a police station giving a statement on his 16th birthday.

Point is his wife, my stepmother, stayed with him. She bought into them (her and him) going to counseling together, then let him (my dad) move back into her house when he was out of prison. I went home in 2000 and they acted like nothing had ever happened.

They had this arrogant attitude that because the victim was now married with kids, and were refusing to let the grandchildren around either of them. "We have bought [the victim's female child] presents for her birthday and Christmas, and are keeping them. When she's an adult, we'll give her the presents. And she'll realize how she were kept from us, and they'll [the parents] will have a lot to answer for."

I was stunned. They are DELUSIONAL! No way would I let my children around my abuser...or the spouse who let him/her back into their house!!! The only thing the victim and his wife will have to answer for is keeping their children from the husband's abuser. My dad and his wife divorced in 2007, 17 years after he had come home from prison and moved back in with her. Fast forward to now: my dad is disabled, and living back in her house (my former stepmother). When he became unable to live alone, she said, "I made a vow to take care during sickness and in health, and I believe that extends past a divorce." OKAY THEN. So, my dad is back in her house. Think her son and their family talk to them? NOPE.

All that said, of course the Duggar wife is going to ride or die with her husband. Not surprised. They'll keep up the "he's innocent" front coupled with their religion.

The real question is - will she smarten up and forget about saving face, and call a thing a thing. And call Josh Duggar a pedophile?

We'll find out.

I'm all for the right hand offending type of justice myself. I'm just thinking now their children have to go through the embarrassment of having to be checked out at best, at the very best. Don't want to think about worst.

Yeah, he had 2 charges, and got 4 years each, but they were served concurrent (at the same time), instead of consecutive. He served about 19 months at a minimum security prison, had parole for a while, then came off the sex offender registry. The law changed while he was in court or prison, so he wasn't grandfathered into the lifetime rule. His was only 10 years then all public record (pic on police site, getting the yearly update envelope with SEX OFFENDER on the front) ended.

I went home in 2000, and we were in the car for about 2 hours together traveling to another town. He said, "you act like you don't regret calling the police or are sorry for it."

After my head snapped around and I readjusted my neck, I said, "I don't regret it. I didn't do anything wrong, you did. If I had to do it all over again, I'd still call the cops, and you'd still go to prison."

And that was the end of that conversation.

Real talk, Josh is a piece of s--t that deserves to be in prison [if convicted] & have his testicles removed.

ONE MORE THING: I wonder if that MFer [Josh Duggar] , many years ago if not recently, ever had sick twisted thoughts of wanting his mother behind his father back?!?

.

I know that might be an overreach, but Josh seems to be that kind of sick nasty pervert.

I absolutely agree with you on this. He's a sick fuck, for sure. His wife is a doormat for spitting out all those kids and believing all his lies and excuses. She should leave him now before he starts molesting his own children, but I highly doubt she will.
