Well, as you know, I've seen Gotham. It was good for what it was but I'm not likely to ever go back and watch it again. You really like that Soap show, though. I'll get my cousin to download it and I'll give it a chance.

Yeah I know you hated Fish Mooney, she didn't bother me to much. But love most of the cast and story lines. Hope you like Soap.

Her brother already told her. The Expanse. What's the hesitation? Huh...Huh...Huh? 😱 5 whole uninterrupted season to dance through. 1 I'm currently dancing thru House. Time keeps on slipping into the future...

Loved it when it aired, and still love it today....except for the storyline about Corinne's baby. I also remember being wildly in love with a young Billy Crystal back then even though, you know...

Don't say to much, don't want to ruin it for Emma, but I liked it and it was funny.

I keep putting it off LOL. I've been feeling very sick the last couple of weeks (pregnancy can be such a pain sometimes) so I didn't want to start anything new when I was feeling unwell because I can be a bit irritable at times and I didn't want that to affect my enjoyment of things. I'm feeling quite a bit better now though and was ready to jump into something new and instead went back to playing through a game called Cyberpunk 2077. I don't play many games but when I do, I'm all in. And this has really got its hooks into me. But I will start a new TV show soon. I'll poll my husband and cousin to decide whether to watch Soap or The Expanse first.

I'm curious what EmmaMcG is looking for?
Something that pulls at the heart and makes you happy you're a messed up human here with all the other messed up humans and even though none of us know what we're doing- we're going to figure it out as we go along and ultimately it's not only going to be okay, but it will also be beautiful and gorgeous even though it sometimes hurts?
Want something dark, gritty, sexy and sometimes shocking with political intrigue?
Want something that you can chat about with your high school aged nieces but still identify with as your inner teen?
That's what I just thought of of the top of the dome, I haven't watched too many shows recently, doing more movies, music performances, & random show episodes on Youtube since Covid began last year.

The top one doesn't seem like my kind of thing. The middle sounds good from your description but I can't see what it is because the picture won't load. I don't have a high school aged niece but my sister is 17 and that looks like the kind of thing she'd watch.

Bates Motel is a prequel to Psycho, right? Is it a prequel to the movie, as in, is it set back in the day or is it set in modern times?

Yes it's a prequel to Psycho and they decided to set it in 2013 and not the 60's (I wish they did set in in the 60's which wouldn't be all that hard to do). Freddie Highmore was great in the role of Norman Bates and Vera Farmiga was great as Norma "Mother" Bates.
I also liked actress Olivia Cooke in the show [Edited 5/3/21 3:30am]

Not my kind of show | |

It's an alternate time line or a re-imagining of the story of Norman Bates. I did enjoy it. I think the first 3 seasons are great, it changes (I want give it away) via story line which makes it a bit more diabolical for the last 2. Great acting for sure. 99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment

Cheers, obviously. All you others say Hell Yea!!

Leverage. 5 seasons. Former insurance investigator Nate Ford and his band of cohorts act as modern-day Robin Hoods, pulling elaborate scams targeted against the greedy and the corrupt. Nate was inspired to begin his con business when his former employer refused to pay for treatment that could have saved his son's life. Time keeps on slipping into the future...
