Darin’s Memorial Service & Celebration of Life
WHEN: Saturday, April 3, 2021. Live stream of the service begins at 1 PM. Park gathering is immediately afterwards, kicking off around 3 PM.
SERVICE LIVESTREAM: Due to COVID, services will be live streamed. [This post will be updated early next week to include the livestream link.]
PARK GATHERING: Bring a lawn chair, picnic/munchables, and a candle to Grant Park (840 Cherokee Ave) so we can celebrate after the services. We will be set up directly behind the underground parking deck on Boulevard, by the pavilions and pond.
PARK ATTIRE: Please consider wearing purple (Prince), yellow or Black (Steelers) for the park gathering. Please also remember to wear a mask and maintain appropriate distance.
OBITUARY: A proper obituary will be released early next week.
FUNERAL HOME: Due to COVID, in-person memorial attendance is private. Inquiries/flowers may be directed to Murray Brothers Funeral Home, 1199 Utoy Springs Rd SW, Atlanta, Georgia 30331, (404) 349-3000.

Very sad news. I didn't know him well personally, but you couldn't be a true orger without knowing of him and his notorious WHAP lol . I hope his loved ones had peaceful final moments with him and have a slew of happy memories to carry them forward

I too, dusted off this account to pay my respects. I'm deeply saddened by the news. DexMSR was one of my first online homies when I joined the org back in 1998ish. I last heard from him in August when he was wishing my mama a happy birthday. He was such a cool and kind human. I'll miss those Whaps and his humor. At least the suffering for him has ended though. omg noooo. He was a great guy. Used to chat with him on the old chat room when it was popular. He was this big dude, but had a heart of gold. He liked every person, color didn't matter. Real shame.
