Wasn't expecting to see Elaine but I must admit, it was a nice surprise. Fingers crossed for a Kramer cameo in the finale

Julia Louis-Dreyfus' character in the comics is Nick Fury's ex-girlfriend from S.H.I.E.L.D. so I would think she'll be in the upcoming Nick Fury TV show (Secret Invasion).

Thanks sexton. I'm trying to figure out the whole Isaiah and Nagel timeline. This series is packing in so much. Loving every bit. Time keeps on slipping into the future...

Since we're in the MCU today, the trailer for the Shang-Chi and the Legend ... Ten Rings film came out today. Looks so good. Comes out September 3, 2021. Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

Yep. Won't read too much on it because I want a fresh experience. Then if it snags me I can go back and delve further. Time keeps on slipping into the future...

I'm excited to see Tony Leung finally appear in a Hollywood movie. I've been a massive fan of Asian cinema, specifically Hong Kong action cinema, since I was 10 years old and Tony Leung ranks among my favourite actors.

Though Wyatt's the bad guy he's killing it in this role. I hope he gets expanded like to the Raft because we know Zemo's not out the picture. The Raft is inescapable Steve got his friends out.
I've been trying to find a post-able picture but can't find it. But I saw an image that someone put the captain america cap on the guy from up doll and it was uncanny. Too funny. [Edited 4/21/21 11:25am] Time keeps on slipping into the future...

Well, my red herring theory didn't pan out, but that's fine. I would've liked to see Steve Rogers show up somehow, but it is what it is. I still think he'll be back somewhere down the line. One doesn't just put Captain America on Uranus and call it a day. Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

Marvel have just announced Captain America 4 so presumably the point of this series was to establish Sam as Captain America before giving him his own movie. I'd also expect Steve Rogers to get a cameo in CA4 but no more than that. I've said it already but I'm really looking forward to Shang Chi purely because Tony Leung is in it. He's been in loads of great movies but the one I'd recommend above all is Infernal Affairs, where he starred alongside his buddy Andy Lau. Martin Scorsese did a remake called The Departed but the original is so much better. The Infernal Affairs trilogy rank among my favourite movies of all time.

It's a prequel, obviously, to the later Avengers movies. I think it's set between Civil War and Infinity War, if I'm remembering it right. Which would seem to suggest it's a one-off movie that while still existing within the MCU, won't have any impact on the wider universe as a whole. But if that's the case, it would seem kind of pointless. So I'm guessing there's some sort of twist here that makes this movie more important than it seems. Shang-Chi I know nothing about this character and yet this is one of the movies I'm anticipating the most. I'm a massive fan of Hong Kong action movies and Asian cinema in general. I bonded with my first boyfriend over a shared love of 80s Jackie Chan movies, Andy Lau, Sammo Hung, Yuen Biao, Jet Li, Donnie Yen and Toby Leung, the latter of which makes his major Hollywood debut as The Mandarin in Shang-Chi. The Eternals. Salma Hayek. I'm sold Spider-Man 3 The rumour is that Tobey Maguire is back to reprise his role alongside a host of other actors from the previous Spider-Man movies. Jamie Foxx and Alfred Molina are already confirmed. Perhaps the most exciting rumour is that Charlie Cox from Netflix's Daredevil show is also back as the MCU Daredevil, or at least, Matt Murdock. That alone puts this top of my list. Doctor Strange 2 This is essentially the follow up to Wandavision so I can't wait to see how Wanda is getting to grips with her new abilities. I just wonder if she'll be a hero or maybe the movie's villain? Wandavision's post credit scene kind of hinted that she may be turning to the dark side, as it were. Thor 4 The first two Thor movies were kind of meh. Ragnarok kind of saved the character for me. I'm not sure how I feel about Natalie Portman being Thor but Taika Waititi did such a good job last time I'm willing to go along for the ride. The Marvels I guess this is Captain Marvel 2? Possibly with Ms Marvel so they can justify the plural? Captain Marvel is my daughter's favourite superhero so sure, I'm in. Ant Man I haven't been crazy about Any Man, if I'm honest. But I do like Michael Douglas. So I'll definitely check it out. Guardians 3 I think Thor is in it so it should be decent enough. Fantastic Four Hey, it can't be any worse than the previous F4 movies.

I was a big fan of Shang-Chi comics during the 70s, so this sounds interesting. I'm pretty sure the movie version won't have Fu-Manchu as his father.
Rumor has it, Kilmonger, Doctor Doom and Namor (one of my all-time favorites) will appear in Black Panther 2. If true, that's a must-see.
Aside from Black Panther 2, the only movie I'm juiced for is Fantastic Four. Natalie Portman as Thor? I'll pass.
Marvel totally wasted the Hulk....so many great comic storylines (Grey Hulk/Joe Fixit, Planet Hulk, World War Hulk), yet they've done nothing with the character. Near the ending of The Incredible Hulk, Samuel Sterns morphed into the Leader. They never resolved that.

Near the ending of The Incredible Hulk, Samuel Sterns morphed into the Leader. They never resolved that. I'm not sure if it's been resolved yet but one reason why Marvel haven't adapted any Hulk stories is because they didn't, and maybe still don't, hold exclusive movie rights to the Hulk. They weren't allowed to make a solo Hulk movie without another company's approval, I think it was Paramount. Their deal allowed them to use the character in other movies but not a solo Hulk movie. I do remember reading that Marvel got the movie rights last year so perhaps in future we'll see a solo Hulk movie but that's the reason why we haven't had one yet.
