There are no doubt some guys who wouldn't watch a female superhero movie no matter how good it was but I think the main reason that female superhero movies aren't as successful is that they're rarely as good as the male-led movies. How many good female superhero movies are there? The first Gal Gadot Wonder Woman movie and Captain Marvel. I can't think of any others. Helen Slater's Supergirl and Halle Berry's Catwoman are awful. And both deserved to flop. With those in mind it's not surprising that subconsciously, female superhero movies just don't resonate with people. Captain Marvel is a good start and hopefully Black Widow will continue the trend and eventually there'll be enough good female superhero movies that they will outweigh the bad and public opinion will change. There are quite a few female superheroes on the way too. Captain Marvel 2, Ironheart, Ms Marvel, even potentially Black Panther 2. Fingers crossed that Marvel bring back Jessica Jones.

Kinda makes me think that Pfeiffer should've gotten her own Catwoman movie instead.

Gal Gadot can eat rocks. Wonder Woman and its sequel are rancid trash. She's a horrible human being, too. That's another show.

And I can't think of many other female superheroes or big villains. Black Widow is sure to be a big success since Scarlet has really held her own in these movies. Captain Marvel did over 1.3B worldwide, but I just don't remember many folks talking about it like they did Infinity War or Endgame (as examples). I suppose we're missing that Wanda did get her own show, too.

Michelle Pfeiffer is the ONLY Catwoman, as far as I'm concerned.

I liked 3 quarters of the first Wonder Woman movie. I don't know anything about Gal Gadot and what would make her a bad person so I can't agree or disagree with you on that one. I simply don't know.

I'm still waiting on a good Supergirl movie. Superman has always been my favourite superhero so when I was a little girl and I found out that there was a Supergirl movie I was delighted. Until I seen it.

I still wanna know who was in the witness protection program? I can't believe that was a throw away.

I'm guessing it was Ralph AKA Pietro AKA Peter AKA Quicksilver. Although seeing as it really isn't important to the plot it probably doesn't matter who it was.

If the witness that brought Jimmy to Westview in the first place was Ralph, wouldn't Jimmy recognize him on the broadcast?

That's what I came across. I'm not so sure, they placed subtle things for various level of fans throughout the show it's hard to say what had meaning what didn't.

They openly admitted that there were several plot threads and hints that went nowhere and were included purely as misdirection. Like how a magician gets you to look at his left hand as he palms a card with his right. So in a way it all has meaning even though some of it had no bearing on the actual plot.
