Yes, even the commentators noticed it.

Yeah Boomer and Nate (Offensive players). Sorry but Buccaneers just outplayed the Chiefs. Hill had 1 or 2 good plays. Mahomes was inconsistent and was playing hurt later on.

From ESPN's Mina Kimes;

Mahomes was pressured on 29/56 dropbacks--the most of any QB in Super Bowl history. Brady was pressured on 4/30--the lowest of his SB career.

Even hurt Mahomes was able to throw the ball on the run

Maybe...the NFL is such a year-to-year league....free agency, injuries....nothing is guaranteed.

We noticed that when watching the game. The one where he was running backwards and sideways and still managed to chuck the ball thirty yard to the line of scrimmage and avoid the sack was nuts. That being said...

I agree, the Bucs just straight outplayed the Chiefs. I was going for the Bucs and that was not the game I expected, at all. I figured it would be high scoring both ways with a slim chance for the Bucs to get it at the end. That was easily the best game the Bucs have played all year and although I don't know all the stats, probably one of the best of Brady's career.

Andy Reid's getting heat for not switching up the play-calling to relieve the pressure on Mahomes......work underneath the Bucs defense early after realizing the O-line was in for a long night.

Felt bad for Mahomes....dude got very little help from his teammates and coaches.

Funny, ha, ha!

What some may know or not know, is that Any Reids son was involved in a car crash the other night, it was said he may have been driving drunk, as of yesterday he is still in the hospital. He injured I believe 3 people, and 2 of them were kids, 1 of the kids has a brain injury and still has not woken up.

Mahomes GF is due at any moment. And she had her OBGYN fly down with her, in case anything happened. The reason I know this is because the OBGYN, is one of my Dr.'s wife.

So it seems like everything else was on their mind except for winning.

For the last 2 years I've never seen them play this bad.

The best team won, and I'm ok with it.

I do think the refs were just trying to find things against the Chiefs.

And if Succup would have played that well when he was with the Chiefs, he might still be a Chief. wink

Well having a bad game was about to happen soonier or later. Yeah I heard about the car accident and sure that was on Andy's mind and I hope everyone is ok. Maybe the Chiefs should have use Bell to help the running game. I don't know his status for the game but it may had helped.

Yeah, I don't know what they were thinking yesterday.

It was just announce that Andy's son had to have surgery, they aren't letting too much out about that.
