I would say yes because a crackhead probably couldn't afford a prince deluxe set because he/she blows their money on crack [Edited 1/30/21 20:39pm] So they would be more fanatical for crack than Prince?

I would imagine so.I have never smoked crack but I believe most who use it only really care for crack.Like if they are under the influence, nothing else matters because they are too messed up.That counts for Prince music too [Edited 2/2/21 15:18pm] [Edited 2/2/21 15:18pm]

Lifelong insomniac since basically the day puberty hit. Seriously, 4 hours is usually my max for what's now over 35 years. I hate pills, I always have. I (used to) never finish a prescription of antibiotics, which of course makes them pretty much pointless. I just forget to take them, because I hate pills.
Keeping a long story short, I've been going through a lot of very serious health issues in the last three years and I've ended up taking all kind of pills for all kinds of reasons. I still hate them, but I don't forget to take them anymore because there really isn't an option.
The things I have/had to take, along with immense amounts of stress and worry, led to me sleeping even less. To the point that I could tell that I wasn't completely in touch with 100% of reality sometimes. This scared me even more, so I asked my PCP to prescribe some Ambien. Honestly I only asked because it's the only sleeping pill I've ever known by name.
She said no, flat out. Wasn't an issue with in interacting with anything else I was taking, either. She just didn't want me on the stuff, even though she agreed I needed more sleep. She dislikes prescribing it that much. She told me to use the Benadryl (or similar, most major chains have their own more generic brand) over the counter sleep-aid.
That didn't help, nor did smoking weed or ingesting edibles until I get burnt out and finally get tired. She still said no.
Evidently it's pretty bad stuff and, like many medications these days, is way over prescribed.
So I agree with what everyone else has said. Your friend needs to seek second (and third, and fourth) opinions. Find a specialist who doesn't just want to throw more drugs at them. When someone is taking that many different kinds of medication they don't really know how they feel or which one is affecting them any particular way anymore.
But most importantly, sadly, they definitely should not just stop taking things. Even if they make those decisions with the same doctor they need to come off of them gradually and in the right order.

Yes and no. Yes, doctors over prescribe these days, to the extreme. But not all doctors and there are many ailments that require medication. Medication that actually helps the patient. The person in question in this thread absolutely needs to seek out other professional opinions. Going natural, sadly, isn't the solution for everyone. If the other opinions feel that's some they should try, great! But they're still going to need help coming off all that crap.
