Have the Rams lost their damn minds again? lol Remember the 2 first rounders for Jaylen Ramsey

I know Stafford is a bit of an upgrade over Goff but not that damn much.

I'm pretty sure the Lions would have been good with one first rounder and

a future 2nd but you give up 2 first rounders and a 3rd for a 33 year old Matt Stafford. Hell no!

Sean McVay must be quite a dick. Goff just got this asshole to the postseason playing on a busted

thumb. Fans in Detroit are saying Stafford never had the talent. Bullshit. He actually had more talent

at receiver than Goff. Goff's receivers were castoffs from other teams. See Brandin Cooks and

Robert Woods. Stafford had Golden Tate, Calvin Johnson, and Nate Burleson. Whoever heard of Tyler Higbee and Kopper Cupp? Goff had utilized those guys pretty well. I can see giving up that kind of

capital for DeSean Watson giving his age although as a GM I wouldn't do it but Matt Stafford. It's still a head scratcher for me. This guy might just be a glorified Kirk Cousins.

Well if the Rams win the superbowl next year then Ryan Secrest.....oops I meant to say Sean McVay (get those guys mixed up all the time) is a freakin' genius

They've been in win-now mode since 2018.

Goff got them close, and even got them to the playoffs this year, but they probably thought he'd hit his ceiling. They're probably betting that their picks won't be that high so there'd be no difference between a 1 and a 2, which is also a bet that they can hit big on 2d round picks moving forward.

Stafford also had Megatron retire in his prime, and his best years with those WRs under a coach that shouldn't have been fired. It remains to be seen whether Stafford can help LAR get back into the conference title game, much less the Super Bowl, given the brutal division they play in.

Jim Caldwell never should have been fired.

Detroit Lions - rebuilding since 1957.

Saw this quote from a Lions fan at another site;

"Patricia acted like a kid trying to pretend he was Bill Belichick from day 1, and as it turns out, that's all he ever was. He copied all the surly mannerisms, coach-speakisms, slogans, and contempt for press conferences, but he was missing the essential ingredients, which were a deep and thorough understanding of football at every level and an unquenchable thirst to do anything and everything necessary to win football games.

Ditto for our moron GM Quinn who figured he could just bring in anyone off the street and win football games, like they did in New England. I will never forget Quinn's reasoning for firing Jim Caldwell: "This is not a 9-7 team". He was right: it was actually a 6-10 team, which he turned into a 3-12-1 team, and then a 5-11 team. Brilliant."

It could be a long night for Mahomes if his line can't handle JPP, Barrett & Suh.

Bienemy and Reid may throw in a lot of misdirection and draws because that front four (including the athletic, behemoth Vita Vea) get a push upfield every down. Like the last 2 Jints teams, TB's DL is peaking at just the right time.

Super Bowl LV -- Chiefs 33, Bucs 27. Brady's Bucs stay with KC through the 3rd, get to Mahomes, and maybe turn the ball over but KC's perimeter players will get in the end zone and eat up chunks of yardage. Mahomes wins the MVP and caps the greatest 1st 3 years any QB has had in the Super Bowl era.

(and yes, Batman, I don't want those PP problems by picking TB)

Breaking News

The Eagles and the Bears are reportedly close to an agreement on a trade for Carson Wentz.

It would be the 2nd time in 3 years the Bears have traded for an Eagles qb. lol

If it's a penalty then call it. What don't call the Chiefs for being offsides for the fieldgoal? How about the Chiefs D start playing smarter.
