Andy Reed I see still makes questionable decisions. You would have thought he learned from last season. Don't design plays to get your franchise qb hurt! With all the talent the Chiefs have at rb why the hell did they call a Patrick Mahomes run option pass with him running parallel to the offensive line only to get concussed on 3rd and 1.

Like he really knew Mahomes would get hurt. rolleyes

Didn't he damn near tear up his kneecap last season running the ball and barely made it back

through rehab. rolleyes rolleyes rolleyes rolleyes rolleyes rolleyes rolleyes rolleyes

What exactly is the rule?

The rules state that if a team fumbles the ball and it goes out of the opponent's end zone, the play results in a touchback.

I'm glad it worked against the Browns but I always felt it was a dumb rule. The offense should at

least get the ball back at the 20 but most of the rules favor the offense anyway.

Yeah I would like to see him at least 2 more seasons with the Colts. Maybe Colts might go for Watson now.

lol

We had another Ohio St qb in camp last year. I can't remember his
name right now but he was the one who help OSU win their last National championship. I'm not thrilled at this prospect either. It's not lack of talent but what's between his ears. The Steelers are now said to be interviewing
Hue Jackson for OC.

According to Albert Breer, Steelers are signing Haskins.

Maybe Tomlin can get through to him....talent's not an issue, but his dedication/work & study habits are. He has to learn how to be a starting NFL QB.

Well that didn't take long. The Steelers have officially signed Haskins to a 1 year deal.

Nothing to lose. If he sucks the Steelers will cut him. If he shows he can grow up and be

serious he may have a shot to stick. The other OSU qb they had in camp this past summer was

JT Barrett. I'm still following the Steelers interviewing Hue Jackson for OC storyline.

PS Your prediction of him landing with the Steelers was spot on

We'll see. Tomlin wasn't able to get through in the end to AB or LBell. But I think phunkdaddy is right.

What do y'all think about Hue as OC? I think it could be a good fit.

Just a bad move on the Steelers part. Steelers have no time to baby sit and mentor a struggling QB who's not ready to start, they already have Dobbs and Rudolph for that. I'm sure Ben is happy they got a non-threatening QB.

You can throw Pep Hamilton in the mix. The Steelers are interviewing former
Colts OC Pep Hamilton as well.

I saw a CBS promo commercial for the AFC championship game, they mentioned Josh Allen for the Bills but no mention of Mahomes and they just showed Travis Kelce instead.

Matthew Stafford era in Detroit likely over as star QB requests trade

The Matthew Stafford era in Detroit appears to be coming to an end.

After meetings in recent weeks in which Stafford expressed a desire for a fresh start, the Lions understood his position and plan to begin discussing trade options in the coming weeks for their star quarterback, per sources.

The sides have had open and healthy discussions since the season ended. But with the Lions starting over again, hiring Dan Campbell as head coach and Brad Holmes as general manager, Stafford told the team he feels it's the right time to move on and team officials agreed, per sources

Just about all players who have entered concussion protocol during the week usually miss

one game or more but the league definitely wants to showcase it's prime face of the league. Hopefully Patrick won't have any issues but if he gets dinged in the head

again and there is an issue Roger will definitely be hearing from Demaurice Smith and the NFLPA.

Funny thing if Mahomes was working at Walmart and got a concussion he would be out for months
