I'm new to Wendy...last 4-5 years. I wasn't around for the early daze. So, maybe I am more tolerant.

I think she is super talented, a bit shady.

My daughter lives in NYC and we went to a Wendy show. What a 4- hour experience. The walls were shakin, there were dance contests by folks from the audience...African women, Puerto Rican women,

Russians all onstage a freakin. After 2 hours of total fun/hysteria, the show began which was super fun and entertaining. She came up to me after the show and said I was her 'muse'. (I doubt that).

Everyone was super nice.

Wendy Williams was real cool back in New York in the early days...before all the plastic surgery and cocaine abuse and marital drama kicked in

Truth is, she makes a career out of being a gossip, talking about others lives, and not in a good way. She's what some call a "messy person" and that's not a good thing. She seems to have no problem gossiping about others in a negative way, but don't like it when others do the same to her, and that's called being a hypocrite. Being that kind of person, has to put out bad vibes in your life, and in my opinion, does not make you feel good inside as a person. Also, I find that when you put out this kind of karma, it always tend to boomerang, and come back to you, in one way or another.

I think she gossips a lot too and has put negative energy out there. She used to talk a lot of shit on her radio show and I remember Whitney Houston called her ass out for it

I remember that too. Whitney was pissed at her, and if I recall, I think she told her that she would beat her ass .....Whitney didn't play.

I think her drug use is present day and I don't think she will last beyond this last contract.

I have to say, though, as a lilly white person, I learned so much from her...same with Prince.

I feel both let me in.

They both had drug issues but it does not matter to me.

I remember when Whitney called the station and threatend to kick Wendy's a$$ on air. I was driving somewhere and pulled over to listen to that. Puffy also refuses to do interviews with her.

Puffy came to her show a couple of years ago but they were warily circling each other.

They both said they were nervous but wanted to bury the hatchett.

Prince liked Wendy. He invited her and her husband to a restaurant and told her he liked her show. (paraphrasing). She said it very late but that 'you don't say no to Prince when summons you'

The back of her purple chair has a small plaque attached commemorating his birthday/death.
