best tips and mindset to lose weight i can't believe how big i've gotten
i'm not reeeeaal big, but compared to two years ago, i'm thicc....and NOT the good kind of thicc.... thicc in ALL the WRONG PLACES...
anyways, obviously the qurantine played a huge role.... i personally qurantined myself March -- June.. just had to go back to work, been very careful since
then I also have had a beer problem.... add that plus eating pizza late at night after work...yeah.. lol a lot of exercise at work but it didn't do me any good with all the carbs i got from beer.... sticking to vodka if i want to drink my feelings away..
that leads me to the other reason i feel as to why i got fat-ish recently.... depression....a few things set it but its been rough... get panick attacks and i grab comfort snacks...
i feel a lot better now tho...surpised i haven't gone into a little manic euphoria phase yet... thats what usually what happens after a period of depression for me...
but I'm riding my bike again, starting to dance again (when i wake up and before sleep)
but i can NOT seem to get into a good groove for my diet... idk whats wrong with me... idk if i'm home too much or what...
what are good diets some of you have tried? I heard about extreme diets i wanna try like one apple a day (Joaquin Phoenix did this to lose weight for the role of Joker) but then again that doesn't seem so healthy lol

I think you've self-identified a lot of your problems, I think you know what you have to do. Of course, the hardest part is doing it.

I've never been even remotely overweight so feel free to take my advice with a pinch of salt. My ex boyfriend, however, has always been quite big. And it was only at the start of lockdown that he decided to do something about it. And in the last 5 months he's lost nearly 5 stone, which is about 70 pounds. He still does fuck all exercise. He goes for a walk (not a run or a jog) every morning and every night. But that's about it. The only thing he does differently is he's changed his diet. My husband is, let's say a "sporty individual". Extremely fit and looks like he's been chiselled from granite. In other words, he's always looked after himself. He gave my ex some dieting tips and they definitely seem to be working. Basically, it's like this. In order to lose weight all you need to do is eat right. Cut out all junk food. Chocolate, crisps, fizzy drinks, pizza etc. Eat 3 meals per day with no snacking in between. No cheating. It sounds simple, no? My ex has been doing it for 5 months and it really works.

Thankfully i shook off the beer crave about a good 3 weeks. Now just gotta make sure I don’t drink vodka every single night because that certainly isn’t good. It certainly is easier said, but i’ve done it before... though i was even bigger then. I’m thankful I haven’t reached that point. But yeah if i keep it up then thats where i’ll go I’m 5’4 (just 2 inches taller than Prince). I was 180 pounds 3 years ago. I did not feel good about myself. I feel I’m somewhere between 145-155 rn. Don’t wanna look at the scale tho. But i got down to 124 2 years ago. I miss that look and everything. I always said to myself i had a skinny personality. (Ik that sounds weird but it helped motivate me) Maybe i’ll take jujitsu classes or something.

Avoid simple sugars, get enough sleep, avoid fried foods, work out and try to do more weighlifting than cardio (but cardio is great, too). Drink enough water. But avoiding sugars and sleeping more would be the easiest first steps. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

I did notice you said a bit of euphoria often follows depression. There may be a touch of biochemistry. I might mention it to your MD. (Please don't worry, just something I noticed)

Replace sugar drinks with non suger drinks. Replace unhealthy snacks with healthier options. Have cheat days. Don't keep the cheat foods or drinks in your house. I drink soda pop occasionally when I'm out in about (not stored at my house). Work out and find activities that you enjoy to keep moving. 99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment

kpowers said: Cut back on sugar ESPECIALLY in the drinks... most people drink more often than they eat...its fucked up that you can get 2 liters of soda for 80 cents, and people buy it up because its cheap and sometimes delicious...but its so cheap because its pure poisonous food colorings and toxic fake sugars and Malic Acids...they want us to buy and drink that sugary shit so we can make the doctors, dentists and pharmaceutical companies rich with our diseases and high blood pressures and decaying teeth, and obesity... you trace the dollar signs and the paperwork up the ladder high enough, in some cases youll find the same corporations/monopolies that are poisoning you by selling you garbage to eat & drink, are the same corporations/monopolies that are selling you the so called "cures" when youre sick or dying...if not the same, theyre willingly complicit with each other on a business level

It depends on age, hormones genetics! Seeing a doctor and nutritionist is imperative.
Portion control for breakfast, lunch, dinner. Eating more fresh fruits and vegetables. Avoiding carbs, sugar, alcohol, junk food, processed foods. Reading food labels, counting calories, moderate exercise, walking more, drinking enough water. I like reading books by: Dr. Eric Braverman, he wrote books/is an expert on health and reversing some health issues. And he is a capricorn! [Edited 10/7/20 5:44am]
