Movies never really frightened me as a kid but two in particular stick out in my mind. The transformation scene in Teen Wolf scared me when I seen it first because I wasn't expecting it. Also, any scene from E.T. which features E.T. himself. That little bastard still scares me to this day. I can't even listen to the Michael Jackson song "Someone In The Dark" because it has that little freak's voice on it.

Definitely with Emma on the Watership Down one ... for a kids film about rabbits, that scene was terrifying! www.filmsfilmsfilms.co.uk - The internet's best movie site!

The scene in the Exorcist where Regan comes down the stairs upside down. Not sure how to post the shot, but it was from the directors cut and it scared the hell out of me.

"Halloween" (1978)...Where the door opens and Micheal Myers is standing there with a sheet over him (and wearing the eyeglasses of his victim)...that was pretty scary. Also at the end of the movie when the doctor looks over the balcony and sees that Micheal is gone....then you see quick flashes of the house and neighborhood...very suspensful..it's like; "He's still alive??"......Many scenes in the 1974 film "Texas Chainsaw Massacare" with Leatherface.......and the masked figure in the 1976 Brooke Sheilds film "Alice Sweet Alice".

word??? ... i laughed through that whole movie... from the mother's decisions, to that slovenly St. Bernard repeatedly head-butting that car, it was endless unintended comedy

I'm honestly not sure what age I was, but I remember crying cause I was scared. The car window bit made me scream. I was young, honest.

1976 "Dogs" I gave my dog a full lecture after seeing it. I'm sure if I saw it now it would be the dumbest thing I ever saw but then I was scared. Something about that dog crashing through the window really bugged me. Time keeps on slipping into the future...

Never saw any of these until I was an adult. I got old skool pg horror as a kid, the wolfman, dracula and Frankenstein and those animals mutated by some nuclear spill. Jason, Michael and Freddy were my teen years. Time keeps on slipping into the future...
