FALL MOVIE PREVIEW - WHICH DO YOU WANT TO SEE THE MOST https://www.rollingstone....e-1044603/ Fall Movie Preview 2020: From ‘Tenet’ to ‘Dune’ (We Hope)Time-bending thrillers and sci-fi blockbusters, musical remakes and horror-icon redos, award-courting dramas and A-list comedies — yes, there still is a fall movie season By
©Marvel Studios 2020, © 2020 Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. (2) Remember back in January — a lifetime ago, we know — when we were looking at the moviegoing landscape of 2020 and smiling? It all looked bright and lovely, and we were so looking forward to seeing so many potentially great films in theaters, laughing and sobbing next our fellow audience members. And we knew that, come the fall, we’d have the usual prestigious fare coming out of the festival circuit courtesy of Venice, Telluride and Toronto. Some important movies, some self-important movies, and a lot of high-fiber goodness. But, you know, business as usual. Like we said, it was a lifetime ago. The good news is that, despite a number of high-profile titles being punted to 2021, this year’s fall movie season isn’t nearly as gutted as the summer was, and while we dread the likely surge that lies ahead in the colder months, we’re forging ahead with a sense of unbridled optimism. The following preview highlights 40 movies scheduled to come out in the U.S., in one form or another, from now until the end of December. To say that “dates may be subject to change” is putting it lightly. Some will make it to theaters near you, assuming theaters are even open near you (and listen, if you do go, please be extremely careful and cautious). Others you’ll get to (and have to) enjoy from the makeshift multiplex that was once your living room. But god willing and the metaphorical creek don’t rise, we are looking at a season filled with comedies, dramas, thrillers, Oscar hopefuls, summer leftovers and late-breaking superhero movies, highly anticipated sequels, A-list ensemble pieces, indie gems and a few seriously unclassifiable films over the next four months. Look, if Tenet can finally get released, virtually anything can happen, right?

There's only a handful of movies scheduled for release this year that I'm interested in. Black Widow I like the majority of the MCU but I'm not really feeling this one to be honest. I still want to see it, I'm just not that excited for it. Dune I love David Lynch but I hate his Dune movie. But I love the Dune novels. And this new movie is directed by the guy who did the new Blade Runner, which I also loved. So I'm pretty excited for this. Mulan First things first, I am absolutely NOT paying the additional fee on top of my Disney+ subscription to watch this. I'll either wait for it's regular release in December or I'll download it through nefarious means. But I am looking forward to it. Donnie Yen and Jet Li are in it too and even though I'm sure they won't have big parts or have a Part 2 to their classic fight from Once Upon A Time In China 2, their presence alone makes this interesting. I'll probably see the new Bond movie too even though I hate all the Daniel Craig Bond movies but I've seen every Bond movie since Tomorrow Never Dies in the cinema so I have to keep that record going. Every other movie I wanted to see has been delayed til next year.

That's total bull shit. People who already have Disney + have to pay even more money to see Mulan, a Disney movie??? Honestly people of the world cancel your Disney + and show them you won't stand for this bull shit

Yeah I saw the trailer for it. At best it looks like it would be an ok movie.

Honestly people of the world cancel your Disney + and show them you won't stand for this bull shit I can understand why they're charging the extra fee. They spent 200 million on the movie and they won't recoup a penny from cinemas because of the coronavirus. So they have to make their money back in some way. But I still don't agree with it. I think it should have been free for subscribers and the fee could be charged for non subscribers. But like I said, I can wait til December or I'll just download it from somewhere.

Hudson said: Everything in that rolling stone article except Black Widow and Coming to America. I forgot about Coming 2 America. The original is one of the best comedies ever made. But the sequel being PG-13 will definitely hurt it and Darryl Jenks, the Prince of Soul Glo himself, isn't coming back either. I'm hesitant. Very hesitant.

I understand that as well, but, I see it coming. If everyone starts paying the additional fees the folks at Disney will start to do it more often. I see them charging additional fees for Star Wars Mandalorian season 2, their excuse will be that it cost more to produce or some other lame excuse. [Edited 9/3/20 14:50pm]

Black Widow will introduce the new story Arc for the new villian for the next 10 years of the MCU. (Even though it's a prequel). 99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment

Black Widow - Big MCU fan so I'll no doubt enjoy this. Hoping David Harbour gets plenty of screen time as Red Guardian as I think he'll be the best thing in it. Probably less excited for this than other MCU films as we already know the fate of Black Widow, so anything that happens in the film already feels a bit redundant. www.filmsfilmsfilms.co.uk - The internet's best movie site!
