I was a teenager when i first saw the Exorcist, so it didn't bother me all that much. The movies that did bother(or influence) me though were Carrie, Martin, and the Dead of Night segment "Bobby"(the original, not the remake). Carrie and Bobby gave me nightmares for a bit.
Rest in Peace Bettie Boo. See u soon. |

The Towering Inferno
The Exorcist - my aunt saw this one in a drive in and when it came out on TV not long after, she let my sister and I watch it, I was around 11, my sister around 4. She sat and laughed at our reactions.
Smokey and the Bandit
Sybil
The Omen
Close Encounters
Helter Skelter
Carrie

Oh my gosh! Heavy Metal! I forgot about that one. Saw that one at a drive in theater.
Oh, and Love at First Bite. (Saw this one on my first double date.)

"The Shining" - Classic, Jack Nicholson/Taurus. For some strange reason, me and my friends liked to watch Scary Movies? When I was 10 or 11 especially!!! Fun times at Prospect Ave, in the late 1980's. I have a good memory. I was outside eating a bag of 25 cent chips. Me and my friends used to buy some candy, chips and the 25 cent juice(who remembers those colored juices in the plastic bottle that was sold at the Bodega?). [Edited 10/20/20 15:56pm]
