https://youtu.be/IhVf_3TeTQE I haven't played a Batman game since Arkham asylum because those games are a bit too difficult for me and i get stuck at certain stages but i might give this one a shot. The thought of playing as knightwing is very cool to me. I loved the Arkham games. They were some of the first games I ever played but like you, I found them to be quite difficult in places. Even on the easiest difficulty setting. I don't like the look of Gotham Knights though. Admittedly, I don't know much about it but it looks like one of those multiplayer games. My brother works for a video game company and he sends me loads of free games. One of them was a game called The Division 2. He told me I could play it all single player so I tried it but I hated it. Yeah, it's possible to play it by yourself but you'd want to be some kind of videogame professional to stand a chance. That's the same vibe I get from Gotham Knights. Which is a shame because I'd like to play a whole game as Batgirl but if I'm being punished for not playing with other people then I'm not interested. There was also a Suicide Squad game announced. And that looks even worse.[/quote[ Yep.Thats why i didn't even bother to mention it but i do like the idea of a evil justice league though. [b][Edited 8/26/20 12:06pm] [Edited 8/26/20 12:07pm]

[b][Edited 8/26/20 12:06pm] [Edited 8/26/20 12:07pm] Hasn't an evil Justice League already been done though? I didn't play it myself but that Injustice game and its sequel features an evil Superman leading a team of villainous Justice League members. Why don't they actually do a game where you play as a heroic Superman? I only play 2 or 3 games a year but if they made a single player Superman game set in an open world Metropolis, like the Arkham games or the Spider-Man game, then that would be top of my list for sure.

I didn't even know there was a game of Superman Returns. My brother has a Superman game on the PS2 when he was really young. Shadow of Apokolips, it was called. I can't believe I still remember that. It was based on the animated series. He used to play the first level over and over again because you could free roam around Metropolis preventing crimes and disasters and such. Looking back, they should have just had that first level as the entire game because the rest of it was kind of crap 😂

They keep attempting these grandiose story arc's that only work if you have an established world with established versions of characters that people actually care about. Audience is going to be more invested in Keaton's Batman than any of the actual "main" characters and any possible stakes related to their world.

DC and WB seem to be trying desperately to make their own Avengers Endgame but what they don't seem to realise is that it took over 10 years and 20 movies to build up to that.

Different strokes for different folks and all... Some people need 10 years of mediocre to plain awful and bad corny movies to get invested into well known comicbook characters... Others understand these are just popcorn fodder to kill some time and don't need useless details on flimsy characters to understand motives and Hollywood "emotions"... Neversin. O(+>NIИ<+)O

True, different strokes and all that. But I'd hardly call some of those Marvel characters "well known" before those movies came out. Guardians of the Galaxy, Black Panther, Hawkeye, Captain Marvel etc were never exactly household names. Captain America and Iron Man were well known in certain circles but the average man on the street wouldn't have really known much about them. So much so that the MCU versions of those characters are now seen as the definitive versions for most people. Whether you like the movies or not is irrelevant. The point is that those movies let you know who these characters are. They gave them a backstory, reasons to invest in them. The problem with the DCEU is that WB never did that. Everyone knows who Superman and Batman are but not everyone would be too familiar with Cyborg or Aquaman. Just throwing them into a movie and expecting a wide audience who aren't comic book nerds to know who they are or care about them is a big part of what was wrong with Justice League. Obviously, the fact that it was a shit movie is another factor. But even the two big characters we know, Superman and Batman, these were relatively new versions. Ok, Cavill had already had his own movie and was established in the DCEU but Batman wasn't. Outside of a few subtle clues in Dawn of Justice, we never really found out what he was all about. The entire Justice League project would have worked so much better if they had taken the Marvel route of giving each character their own movie so audiences could get to know them and be familiarised with these new versions of them. And in the meantime, Zack Snyder or whoever could have used the extra time to put together a movie that was worthwhile. [Edited 8/29/20 5:53am]

Or rather, some have read comic books their entire life and are letting their enhanced familiarity with these stories/characters/motives temper their understanding/enjoyment of what Hollywood puts on the screen...

No problem. I'm useless at fighting games so I just watched the cutscenes on YouTube as if it were a movie.

I'd rather see Flash in his own solo film. Just like Superman in Man of Steel, Wonder Woman, Aquaman and Shazam By adding Batmen Newton and Affleck it feels gimmicky imo.

I tried the demo and I thought the first part was ok but it got kind of boring very quickly. It's also extremely difficult. I had it on easy and I was still getting killed every few minutes. Maybe I'm just bad at it though. I suppose if you like those kinds of online multiplayer games you'll like The Avengers but it's not for me.

What about Mortal Kombat or Tekken? No, those kinds of games are of no interest to me at all. I remember playing Street Fighter with my then 6 year old brother and he would beat me every time. The only fighting game I've ever been any good at was a game called Dead Or Alive on the 3DS.
