Because being around drunk people acting the fool makes me want to snap. My brother says I'm old before my time but I don't think that's it. People, in general, get on my nerves and when they're drunk, doubly so.

Huge difference between "drinking" and "getting drunk".

I don't get drunk anymore (I did when I was a 17-25 yo brat), but now I just couldn't live without quality wine, champagne and certain liquors.
